Hi Guys, sorry I have been busy lately and didn't realize there was still an interest in this EA. I will try to add the time window option. The set file that I used was downloaded from The_Snowman's post in the thread NB10.6 combined with TCO.

My setup is different from The_Snowman, who runs the EA on a demo account and then manually open trades in a real account after he analyses each trade visually, as I used a master/slave account setup.

In my setup, the TCO EA is set to trade in a master account (demo) that sends a signal to a slave account (real), which receives the signal and filters the signal. The TradeReceiver EA on the slave account opens a trade after the signal passes all filters. Before you ask me for a copy of the TradeReceiver EA, I cannot upload it because it is not free.

The profit made previously were given back to the market, hence I am still experimenting on different filters to find a profitable setup.

Profitable settings are still in the works, exits are mostly done manually by me. Percentage basket exits by others. Check the link posted just before by SpiderX.

Steve Hopwoods Shell EA, http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... t=shell+ea , contains code for trading hours and CSS, which was provided by another member Baluda. As long as that is OK with Steve and Baluda you could incorporate that code into your EA.

Welcome back.
You have made a great EA!

When you program the time window it might also be a good idea to add an option to close all trades at the end of the time window. This way all trades are closed at the end of the time window (for people wanting to close trades at the end of the day and not when x% profit is reached)

Exemple:
Start: 00:00
End: 23.55
CloseAllTradesAtEnd: 1/0

Other idea for the time window: Add a weekly shedule.... so that people can define when they want to trade. From tuesday to thursday for exemple. Not sure if this will be used or not....just an idea.

Hmmm... We do have a nice system here. HOWEVER. !!!

I have been testing it live for 2 months now. Was running ok. Then great...
Last week it took all opposite signals. Where it was supposed to buy, it sold and vice versa. WTF?
Did anyone else experience this. My settings are fine. Never changed them.

I'm having the most consistent results with settings similar to snowman (NB10.6+TCO thread) but with ATR_TP=True, ATR_TP_TF=1440, ATR_TP_Per=30, ATR_TP_Mult=0.5,
ATR_SL=true, ATR_SL_TF=30, ATR_SL_Mult=0.25
BreakEvenStop=true, BreakEvenProfit=35, BreakEven SL=5
Stoch 7,2,2,1,1 with Stoch_OB=80, Stoch_OS=20, Stoch_Confirmation=1
Also using snowmans 20/63 trend settings with MA cross=true

I'm presently looking at tweaking the JumpstopProfit=30 approx ...and then I'll start tweaking my ATR_SL_Mult possibly higher to optimize with the JumpStopProfit.

Real nice to have the choice of WPR or Stoch signals and trend type....like a 10-speed bike.
I'm really looking forward to a TCO trading time window which would complete this swissarmy knife....especially a "start time" to start looking for trades at key times (session open)... and possibly a TP1 & TP2 level. I usually like to take a TP1 then trail TP2 to a final SL. Maybe trail the 5sma or 8sma till TP2 SL.

you can use MPTM EA (available on this forum) to set your trading hours. you could also use the part close settings at breakeven+profit as a sort of TP1 and TP2 with trail ( its what i use for that effect for my manual trades)

also are you using these settings on 1h or 4h charts?
