Forum: Open image attachment in a new tab

For me it is very annoying that when I click on an imagine in on of the posts that it opens int the current tab. Usually after I am done looking at an image, I close the tab and notice that the thread is gone as well. First I thought that I will get used to it but I still struggle with this after over a year ....

So you want it to open in a new seperate tab, right?

That's what I tried to say . When I think about it I open attachments with crtl+click but it happens often enough that I forget about it ...

I think ctrl-click is probably your best bet. I doubt phpBB has a setting that lets you specify that, especially just for you. And I don't think we'd want to change it for everybody.

I use a mouse scroll-wheel "click" to open a pictures in a new tab (and Opera browser)

Btw. now we have a much more elegant way for showing the attached imagines
