I got the trade comments upside down earlier - confused 4 Ducks with BASA.
I have replaced ReadIndicatorValues() after CountOpenTrades(). ReadIndicatorValues() places the Main Trade buy/sell lines on the chart and so needs to know if there are already open trades in place.
I have deleted Dave's two candle close filter from CountOpenTrades)_ - left this in by mistake as it cannot apply to an M5 trade trigger.
Look on the bright side guys. When 4 Ducks isn't throwing up unfindable bugs, it is superb.

Well, we all know that however good the strategy is the EA cannot survive without a decent name. 4 Ducks would have lost every single trade it sent had we called it, "The 4 MA with Stacking EA". Ducks have feelings, too.

See attached screen grab. I got a whole bunch of trades on GBPNZD and EURNZD all at the same second and all immediately closed for an amount that appears to the be the spread. Only happened on the NZD pairs. The EA did not pause with the Rogue trades error.
I call this the "Odd Ducks" phenomenon.
For the moment, I have disabled the EA on GBPNZD and EURNZD but I doubt that is the long term solution.

as I see this positions are not closed immediately, so no wonder that there was no rogue error, they are closed about 1h later..
sure there seems still an opening problem...
Well, I suppose I am the odd duck for not looking closely enough. You are correct Tommaso. Interesting that these trades did not show up in the terminal active trade window. I only noticed them when I opened the Account History tab to see how the GBPCAD trades had performed.

maybe a broker problem.. or a problem with Empty4, sometimes could this happen that trades were opened but not shown in terminal..

There is red-hot safety code (Matt's OrderReliable stuff) that prevents this.

I really despise raising another issue. I noticed an odd phenomenon this morning. I was watching a GBPJPY trade that 4 Ducks had entered. I made the decision to intervene manually by moving the stop loss up to reduce risk. I then, made a second move to a hair above break even. As soon as I passed the order entry line, the EA tried to close 50% of the position even though price had not made it to that profit trigger point.
The thing that caused me to post this right away is the error messages I got. In the attached screen shot you can see that the EA was having trouble closing half the position due to invalid price parameters. The odd thing is that the message does not reference the GJ trade, but the GU trade. I have attached a screen shot of the error message placed above the active trade terminal window so that you can see the order numbers. the second screen shot shows the message from the experts tab where it references the GJ pair, but the order number for the GU trade.
