So who's watching this pair AUDNZD, from the prior post??

I'd be interested to know whether this was a trade taken and if exited, what was seen to invalidate the trade, or whether it's a work in progress. I see a number of options in hindsight, but in the moment it's not always clear which side the accumulation is on.

Hi adaire, I took a long when price hit the bottom of the acc channel parallel to the x axis, however when it fails to break upwards and showed a lower high followed by the upper shadow pin, i exited my position feeling something was not quite right. As of now, IMO, price has not really broke out of the accumulation range per se, instead the accumulation range has evolved into a downward sloping channel, a lot of shorts are trapped in the long lower shadow pin in this second range but they probably werent killed yet and px is now moving downwards staying in that area and easing the pressure on these shorts. It shouldnt stay too long down there if it wanted to go up because lots of people would have lots of time to see that long pin and taken a long. So price will probably break downwards soon. I will watch for more clues to emerge going forward, otherwise I would leave it alone.

Thanks for the comments Jacque and CJ. Looking at EURUSD there are a few interesting points, though I am still putting all of this together into a tradable format so please excuse obvious idiotic mistakes.

On H4 so far, two pushes down from the peak high.

Then on the Hourly, three days compression into the last area of supply, with a possible M forming.

I noticed this on the weekend when doing some analysis for this week. Since then I haven't been able to stop thinking. Much of CJ's words have continued to resonate in my head. Mainly, "patterns repeat over all times frames".

The red boxes are almost identical, as are the lead up to it from the previous move down. I've used a line chart as I find it easier to see the patterns, M's and W's, levels on three push high/low.

To date, this has been the biggest explosion in my head. I'm reluctant to accept it's a co-incidence, but we all know price can't be predicted...

Thoughts? Comments? Death Threats?
