Seems to be working alright without the hidden settings. Would have loved though to have HiddenJS working too.

From the above, it's not MPTM closing your trade.

By the time MPTM comes in to modify the SL and TP, it's finding the trade close, hence the "invalid ticket" error.

Who is "Publisher"?

It is the ftp service sending stats to Myfxbook. Doesn't have to do with trades. The trades are indeed being closed by MPTM prematurely (11:06:29 Multi purpose trade manager EURUSD,H4: close #5962606 sell 0.01 GBPUSD at 1.60996 at price 1.60998) so the rest of the script does not have the time to apply correct SL/TP on them. When removing hidden SL/TP it does not close them, so there must be a conflict somewhere. Does not apply to long orders, only short.

Here it is running successfully without hidden SL/TP:

So to explain it easy, when i reach 130pips in profit, it should move BE/SL to 90pips, then when i reach 150pips it should use trail stop with 35pips.

Is this possible to set up ?

Hallo,

How about you have 2 MPTM instances? One handing the BE part, and the other handling the TS part.

Cheers

Ok. Hopefully Steve (or other coder) will have a look.

PS: then why not just use it with normal SL/TP? What's with hiding them? (esp if you have an STP/ECN-type broker)

Well for Bully Pepperstone there is no reason to use it as I have not yet noticed any suspicious spikes, but I am also with SaxoMT4 and Oanda which like to send spikes, so I was thinking of using it with hidden stops and autoupdate delay of 10-20 seconds or so to try and avoid getting stopped out by them.

Well Dudest, that is a idea, but it would be nicer if that possibility was in the EA, then i dont have to run the same EA 2-10 at the same time depending on my wishes :-)

Looks easy but I just do not get it right:
Move SL to BE+1 when 8 pips in profit and at 10 pips profit apply a Trailing-Stop of 5 pips.
Would anybody pass me these MPTM-settings, please. Thanks Mike

@Mike: I think this is not possible. You can do BE with +1 but trailing stop doesn't let you decide at which percent you can start tracking, i.e. 50% at 10 pips.

Would help reporting such sellers with ebay or paypal, which they use to sell EA's.
I know, but the sellers would remove it.

I do make the occasional desultory attempt to get in touch with ebay but their bloody site rejects every attempt I make to log on. Not a clue how to do so and ebay appears to have no way of recovering logon details. If logging on is necessary to use ebay. Don't know - tis about 8 years since I last bought anything there and have never sold anything.

If anyone has any idea how to stop these bastards flogging my free software for a profit to themselves, do please let me know how it is done. ebay clearly couldn't give a shit so long as they are making their money.

Breaking ranks here as you are kind enough to offer a method of dealing with the ebay scammers.

I never answer questions about 'how do I set up such-and-such' for two reasons:
  • the harsh one. I wrote an entire User Guide explaining how to use mptm so I would not keep on having to do so. If you cannot find the answer in there, then it is probably not possible.
  • the gentle one. I coded huge chunks of mptm in response to early requests to do so. I have never used these features, have no idea what they are supposed to do, and have no idea how the code works. All this is a loooooooooooooooong time ago. Subsequent coders have added some significant stuff; they are strong people not given to crying easily. All I ever wanted was a few stop loss manipulation features.
This is my one and only ranks-breaking exercise guys. MPTM is a highly complex piece of kit whose inner workings I do not understand. Experiment with the inputs and learn to use it for yourselves.

:D
Read the effing manual, ok?

Afterprime is the official SHF broker. Read about them at https://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=175790#p175790.

I still suffer from OCCD. Good thing, really.

Anyone here feeling generous? My paypal account is always in the market for a tiny donation. pianodoodler@hotmail.com is the account.
