Just as a reference, please see the 2 accounts on the links below. You can clearly see the effect of the 3MAC closure had on the balance and the equity. Both accounts are running 36b version and had large closures with losses. That set back the account a bit. I know it will recover but 3 or 4 of these in a row can do a devastating affect on the equity and the capital.

See the trading history when the closures happened. Just want to help to sort this out.

From today I have changed these to the 40C so we will see the difference in the coming weeks.

Close on 3MACD must be setup with precision, Especially DeltaPipsBetweenMACDtoCloseTrade parameters to avoid too quickly close.

Well if i where to use 3MACD close to TRUE, what is then the value for DeltaPipsBetweenMACDtoCloseTrade so it doesn't close to quickly?

I can say that i changed the 3MACD to false yesterday and that was right since it did not close a trade that was -140pips, and i could see it was a retracement and should head on to profit and this morning it had come to it sences. I know i have had trade where it has gone to -140pips then gone down to -110pips and suddenly close, made me go WHAT so please do give us the right value phile.

My experience with MM went down to what Mr Philip said. The most important parameter is pips intermacd to close. All i could do is just backtesting in Empty4. When i increased this parameter, it made tons of pips but then a news bar destroys everything,, not by hitting SL, but it gave false signals to MM and force it to buy or sell without thinking. May someone tell me if this is due to backtesting in Empty4 or this is what happens in reality!
I know that in backtesting in mt there's no control over spread limit!
Anyway, at the end of the day, Mr Phill is one of the best traders out there!

This is the set file I use on the latest 40c version.

However I try to use almost identical ones on the earlier versions as well.

My first 2 accounts with 36b are still doing very well, but those needs to be cared all the time.

40c is good for me because don't have to add the TP manually to the trades. and the large closures with the losses are not happening as well.

I use all available pairs on both brokers. but not metals. Only currencies.
Also use GEC controller from FXAW to close trades at set equity rises.
