Just entered short on GU. Had several days up. Looks like a peak high.

Looking to hold for a few days and take a couple hundred pips. (ADR 103 x 3 = 309)

Not to be a spoilsport, what is happening now is an exact pattern of what happened in mid oct. i.e GU is going UP so just be careful there...

I thought I was in the clear, but my initial couple of entries were tested as price came back to break the highs. I've noticed that in such situations, price likes to break the highs and then spike the next supply area before dropping. Once this happened, all of the demand from below was removed by the previous run down and the drop was fast. Seeing price fly into profit makes the discomfort of a bit of DD worth it.

Hi basch312,

great to see you posting. In your H4 chart, i see a M at peak high evolving into a W and then moving up to pin again. I would have shorted in that pin because that is a fox track. However, there is a different "measurements" of cycle for H4 such as we should now be using High of the Week (HOW) vs HOD on M15 which I am still learning.

On the M15 chart, my apologies, I can't "see" a thing! There are too many lines on the chart Would you mind posting a cleaner chart please?

Having lined up the time periods I could see what you are looking at but didn't think the similarities where that close. They look good with the box and circle overlays, but not so if you take them off. You did well to see it, I wouldn't have.

Anyway I was about to dismiss it and then thought why not try some vertical lines on the extremes!

You are NOT supposed to find anything. The Empty4 terminals are designed to distort everything you "see" so that you don't really see anything at all. Just scroll back through your price history on the charts and watch the scale of the charts change... this is by design, to distort the past because it repeats in the future. It has to, otherwise the higher time frame candles would not form as they do. Everything you place on your chart adds to the distortion of price and diverts your attention away from "seeing" price.

How do you think the candles are formed on the charts you see? These charts begin at the tick level, and this is where the patterns are "born". Over time, they mature into the larger patterns you see on the higher time frames. The past is the future.

sorry for the chart I posted. Those lines are just moving averages that help me to see where the trap can be done, like fibos or SR lines. And the painted boxes are the Sessions indicator that I've modified. Sometimes it is annoying even for me

Here you are the same chart without the MA's and pivots and blabla. Hope you can see it better now. By the way, now we can see the 2nd entry was better than I thought
