I've realized that it's the same after looking at the chart for 15 min But how do you take advantage from this kind of things? I mean, you see the tick chart today and, if it has something to do with the actual daily pattern, you can expect it will copy the tick move?

The picture on the GBPJPY chart is from Empty4.... best to look for patterns during the dead time between NY/Asian session and before Asian session on Sunday....

I do not recommend that people try to replicate this or to attempt to use it for trading live accounts.... I post his information to show you that Forex is NOT A RANDOM MARKET..... that "news" is not news to anybody but the retail trader...... and that the rabbit hole runs deep, with many nooks and crannies in which to get lost. Ditch all the shit that dirties the glass on your window to price and "see" what lies right there in front of you.

great to see you posting. In your H4 chart, i see a M at peak high evolving into a W and then moving up to pin again. I would have shorted in that pin because that is a fox track. However, there is a different "measurements" of cycle for H4 such as we should now be using High of the Week (HOW) vs HOD on M15 which I am still learning.

On the M15 chart, my apologies, I can't "see" a thing! There are too many lines on the chart Would you mind posting a cleaner chart please?

sorry for the chart I posted. Those lines are just moving averages that help me to see where the trap can be done, like fibos or SR lines. And the painted boxes are the Sessions indicator that I've modified. Sometimes it is annoying even for me

Here you are the same chart without the MA's and pivots and blabla. Hope you can see it better now. By the way, now we can see the 2nd entry was better than I thought

Thanks for posting the chart, i see a 3 lvl rise from the NY reversal bottom pinning at prior day high, looks like its good to be in that pin..

As for lines and indicators, I have not put on any lines and indicators that colors the chart ever since I stumble onto this thread. After a while, I guess its human nature for me to get comfortable with the status quo - I become not able to see when there are other stuff on the chart..

Is anyone trading USDYEN today? The fox has been slinking away my chickens when I shorted at the H1 pins. It looked like the pins appeared at lvl2 and lvl3 but I was counting on the effect of pins to outweigh the levels. Also, there is a lot of air to the left and I was counting on the prior highs on the D1 to be a pinning area... any comments?

The Empty4 terminals are designed to distort everything you "see" so that you don't really see anything at all. Just scroll back through your price history on the charts and watch the scale of the charts change... this is by design, to distort the past because it repeats in the future. It has to, otherwise the higher time frame candles would not form as they do. Everything you place on your chart adds to the distortion of price and diverts your attention away from "seeing" price.

Up until recently, I had always thought that I was stuck with this "squishy" view of price, where big moves were blended with small ones so that they blurred into a sticky mass of candles. Then I started playing around with the aspect ratio and now I can't get by without fixing the scale to MY eyes, not what those Metascoundrels want me to see.

When seen at a constant ratio, moves in price take on a much more dynamic look. It does require a little more scrolling and manual chart movement, but I find it well worthwhile.

I think its at the top now , I see 3 pushes up L3 on the 1 hr , there is news 2 in 2hrs , so a nice M here now
