MULTIPLE MONITOR ENVIRONMENT

Hello Peeps,

Does anyone know the Best Software to use in a Multiple Monitor Environment, I need to have something set up so I can View CHARTS for 4 different MONITORS.

You don.t need software, just the graphic cards and Windows will take care of the rest.

Anyone using multiple monitors would benefit from checking out Deskspace too. What Deskspace does is build a virtual cube for your desktop with a clean desktop on each face of the cube. You can assign function keys to flip to another face of the cube.

So, for example, I have 6 monitors. I have my main manual system running on "face 1" along with email and tinterweb. I have 6 Empty4 instances running - one displayed on each monitor. If I hit Windows + F12 I get a new desktop that is running BASAH4/BASAH1/Marylin and a couple of other EA's - all on their own Empty4 instances on their own monitors. Then I can hit Windows+F9 and get just 3 monitors being used for some other testing Empty4 instance etc.

So in essence you get 6 * the number of monitors you actually have. Actually thinking about it there is no reason why someone with just one monitor wouldn't find this useful - to be able to quickly switch between distinct setups with none of the usual myriad icons on the taskbar.

You can try it for free and the best part is that this is only $25 to buy!! The only minor issue I have had with it is that it doesn't like you switching faces of the cube when using Teamviewer as it then puts everything on a single desktop and you have to re-sort them when at the PC. I guess it is just some kind of compatibility issue.

FWIW - I have no affiliation with them at all - it came pre-installed on my pc and I think it is awesome.

I have 6 24 inch monitors coming of my desktop computer. I use display link adapters, I only needed 2.
I also have 2 NVidia graphics cards.

Just got back into this again, found the gizmo to undock charts, use as a script works best on the latest Empty4,
Put the ex4 file in your scripts folder, and the DLL library from MT4i in your library folder.
Perfect for multi monitor setup, especially for dashboards etc.
