I have concentrated on the eur/nzd and gbp/nzd which CSS wise have similar moves with the eur/jpy. The gbp/nzd I have made 1871 pips and 941 pips on the eur/nzd during this period. CSS angles are wonderful things. Dont ignore them. You wont even need a SL when they are moving away from each other like that. Learn to read these tools given you.
If you are trading lots so big you are afraid of hitting your SL or cant play with a large SL then divide your SL by 10 and use that. So if you are trading .10 lots then trade .01 lots. or 1.00 lot trade .10 lots until you get used to market moves.

Re: 10.6 EDSEL
hi guys, would just like to add, i went live with this a few weeks back and i was getting losing trades, so i went back to the drawing board, the demo, and the mistakes i was making was, entering too early i should have waited for the stoch to be at least above 60 on the buy, also my stops were to tight, and trading the wrong pairs, as bob has pointed out the css gives you the stong and weak cuirrencies, i also made a mistake today i went long gbpchf, but looking at the css, they are both at the top so i got stopped out, and again stop was too tight, has to be a hundred pips on the 4 hour chart, so as long as we can learn by our mistakes, that the important thing, also coming up to xmas volumes will drop off, so looking for strong currency against weak is the obvious thing to do as bob has pointed out

Under strong trends 20/80 crosses are to be taken most of the time. When market slows down (as it seems will happen from now to the netx year) you could need some extra confirmation. I have been testing it only two days but Stoch 7,2,2 daily applied to 4H (stoch tape) seems a very good filter to select the good 20/80 crosses. If a 20/80 cross happens during and impulse (tape confirms dummie lights) you take it without hesitation. If it happens during a retracement you should wait until the first impulse bar appears in the tape (usually at 50,60 stoch evels).
During xritmas, it could be interesting to zoom x4. Use 60 as 240 an 1H instead of 4H adapting dummie lights settings (240 becomes 60, 60 becomes 15, signal 1H keeps the same) and trying to catch little moves in 1H TF. Of course, the best thing should be stop trading those days, but who can do something like that?

My Info page adapted to slow markets:
CSS 4H
Baluda´s Global Market Trend MTF showing 4H and 1H with 3,11 levels.
When 4H line (the yellow one) is above 3 level best thing is play EDSEL the normal way. With 4H line under 3, I prefer zoom x 4 and scalp 1H.

Bob, how do you get this view on the CSS from the info page? My angles seem much shallower than yours.nanningbob wrote:I have concentrated on the eur/nzd and gbp/nzd which CSS wise have similar moves with the eur/jpy. Tibo,
If you click and drag left or right on the date range at the bottom of the chart you can adjust the view of the CSS.
Hope that helps.
