With the JPY turning up and the GBP turning down on the D1 CSS i would be hesitant to take that trade or at least not shoot for a lot of pips.

On the H4 CSS they are almost touching and could possibly cross.

That is just my understanding on how to use the CSS to filter out less profitable trades from what ive read on here.
Please correct me if im wrong....

Beware if going long on xxxjpy pairs if stock index e.g. Dow Jones or Nikkei 225, is falling.

Stock indices falling = flight to safety of the yen.

Looks like NZD will keep going up after the confirmation of the 2.5% rate. I suppose we have to look at rates in relation to each other to see which currencies should go stronger and weaker, right?

Your best bet would be to wait for STO7 to cross above 20/40 and pending order above DP.

Above DP = BUY
Below DP = SELL.

When price hits the 60 ma line you set the previous swing highs and lows and that is the range of the pair. I would not expect price to move above those lines. Doesnt mean it never will but for now price will or should range for a time.

We also must not forget my analogy of a car slowing down as it approaches a stop sign. It will continue to go forward but it is slowing down. GBP is clearly slowing down but the JPY is not speeding up nor is its depreciation speeding up. It is going at a steady speed. So CSS read still gives momentum for gbp/jpy rising just not as rapid as it has been. You will notice the AUD is in the same category.

GBP/JPY setting the previous swing high and low. This is our range area and expect price to move in this area now until the next breakout. Same chart one close up the other view further out. This is still a valid 10.4 trade setup. STO7 will give you a signal when price moves back up into its trend.
