Looks to me like you are. Have you read Bob's analogy of CSS and the motor car? This makes it all clear.

Apologies if I have missed the point of your question which appears to be about the discrepancey betwen CSS and the chart read. If so, then do the usual shf thingy and ignore me.

GBP is still above the 0 line but descending which means its rate of rise is slowing and the other currency's rate of depreciation is holding steady and maybe starting to slow.

The first shot across the bow about trouble brewing in France's economy has been heard. I expect early 2014 for the Euro to take a dive. We can start looking for it on our charts and when it happens take the ride.
