95026862, that's the kind of thing I had trouble understanding at first. One slowing, another still going down but less so.

Harry, I asked FXCM support regards a way to quickly open the chart I need in Empty4 rather than having to trawl through loads of symbols to find the right pair, but they weren't aware of something to help. The symbols aren't even in order and it makes it difficult.

FXCM are the only broker with spreadbetting I know of that have any ounce of respectability. I would move to GPrime but that tax free status for me is obviously very important. What I have found is that since I've started placing trades via Empty4 I've had all sorts of errors... (delayed cancels, no trigger trades, 2sec delayed market entry, cancelling a trade when was only moving the SL up etc) but I have ECN straight through status - no dealing desk... so I don't know how this can be possible. I'm going back to charting with Empty4 and placing trades separately with TradeStationII... as long as this continues I'm trading the smallest possible penny amounts.

I do seem to be able to get it now... it just requires patience waiting for setups. Next stage will be setting up Stochastic on tradestationII and using that as a trigger... oh boy...
it's not possible to copy trades Empty4 to TS2.... only the other way round or Empty4 to Empty4. All because of trying to avoid that tax on profits... hmm...

I keep making small profits and then making one big loss through one stupid mistake. For example, that big drop on GBPNZD today... I made a mistake in a buy, went to cancel and it didn't... then when I did get it to cancel it was in the wrong position... -250 pips would have been a disaster if trading with normal size lots! This is the problem for me. It's one thing in theory but another in action. What would be a great idea would be to work in a team checking each other's trades. How's about a live chatroom on irc.ny.ny.us.financialchat.com or something on this site, just to check each others trades for silly mistakes?

No comments on my video. I guess there's no comments to make regards navigating Empty4 quick and efficient, checking mistakes etc.

It would be cool to have a chat.

The buy instead of the sell is a common ocurrence. Once I clicked the buy button twice buying shares. LOL. That meant a 50% position!! and double commissions. I guess that you bought at the market and not with a pending buy, because a pending sell with a stoploss below it and a take profit above it shouldn't be accepted by the platform.

I think you can just use a demo on Empty4 and use the horizontal lines to place the pending orders on Empty4, then you copy the price of the line and paste it into your real platform. I do this but inside the same Empty4 demo platform.

The questions is:

Are "delayed cancels, no trigger trades, 2sec delayed market entry, cancelling a trade when was only moving the SL up etc" worth it just to avoid paying tax? I'd say it's more important to trade with your mind at ease knowing your broker isn't doing anything dodgy.
Please note I am no longer affiliated with Global Prime. I've moved on to my next adventure with Afterprime.

Looks to me like you are. Have you read Bob's analogy of CSS and the motor car? This makes it all clear.

Apologies if I have missed the point of your question which appears to be about the discrepancey betwen CSS and the chart read. If so, then do the usual shf thingy and ignore me. :xm:

:D
lol, it's temping to ignore you but i like what you have to say when you are in a good mood :P

on the other hand, it's a lagging indicator. however even in that sense it still doesn't explain the daily moves compared to the CSS indicator's readings.

doesn't matter, i'll live with it

I Googled it. Here is a link.http://www.mauldineconomics.com/subscribe It is free and the latest newsletters arrived in my inbox within seconds of me subscribing.

:D

Edit: actually, they are Welcome messages with a link to the latest newsletters, but same difference.
Maudin did mention the documentary film "Money For Nothing: Inside The Federal Reserve" in his weekly "Thoughts from the Frontline", that's a great film.

Currently it is in youtube available.

You are right...

@Jago25

why are you stretching about tax free? At the end of financial year, i went to my accountant and asked him that should i work more because if i work more then i will have to pay 35% of tax and that will be too much. He said that dont worry about 35% but keep on working because you will make other 65% in your pocket....

You should think of your time and developing your skills. At the moment, with GP i am making some where around $100 a day consistently though market is dying and STO7 is not giving enough signals at my time zone here in Australia. But Jago, i am sure you are not making that money because you are worried for tax things. Am i right?

We need service and we are ready to pay for that....because we are in finance market and we have to keep making money. From January, 2014 my target is to make atleast $300 a day and i am ready to pay the taxes instead of wasting my days and weeks...

Agree? You may be right but this is how i think because i just dont want to waste my every minute....

Also i really like your idea about chat but my fingers are painful because of typing and working on computers since years. I am basically Internet Marketer but i have already started closing down all my assets in IM field and diverting myself to forex for ever. But due to this profession i can not type more. I just wanted to give rest to my fingers with continually making money.

But i can help you out via voice chat incase if that helps you. I will not be able to help you for Empty4 operation but i can see that your entry for trade seems wrong to me...

OR

I would like to say that follow strictly this points and it should be fine for you....

GBP is still above the 0 line but descending which means its rate of rise is slowing and the other currency's rate of depreciation is holding steady and maybe starting to slow.

thanks bob ! simple and straight to the point
