Just a crazy off the map Idea but has anyone developed speech capability so you just say buy at and say the price and it will set a pending order at that price. Then SL at and TP at and be done with it? Just curious. Being the first broker with speech capability would be a huge advertising advantage.

As some of you know I love reading John Maudin. In his latest letter he talks about the "Monster that is Europe" What is funny about the whole thing is Greece has once again trumped the European banks. If you can understand this (and I realize it can be a tough read) you will walk away shaking your head and laughing at the same time. Sad really. Any way look for the part where you build and sell the ships (these are the large shipping boats for worldwide shipping billions and trillions are involved) for top dollar, get the banks to finance almost the entire boat 75-90%. financial crisis hits, then buy the boats back off the market for pennies on the dollar AND getting 100% financing (from China) to buy the ships from these banks. THEN you can ship cheaper than everyone else who was able to survive the financial crisis because they still have the old loan. However the companies who survived now have new competitors and have overhead costs much higher than the ships financed on pennies on the dollar. PLUS when those companies can no longer compete with the ships who have lower costs and financing, the banks again will take a hit on the leftover ships and they will have to sell them for bottom dollar tooooooooooooooo 8-) .................................. GREECE again and probably will give them 100% financing to buy those ships too. I mean who can make this stuff up anyway. Anyway happy reading, who would have thought.

GBP is getting close to crossing the CAD on the CSS. You may want to start looking for a place to sell gbp/cad pair. I am looking at the 240 line and 1.7200 line for possible entrances.

I picked up another 41 pips today on the gbp/nzd. Hoping its descent will accelerate or this time of the year it will probably range.

I am having some broker issues I thought I would mention. I will not name this live broker as they have always treated me very fairly resolving numerous issues for me. However the thin liquidity we are seeing at the moment resulted in TP not being filled and a trade hit TP twice in the last 2 H1 candles and didn't close. Fortunately I was able to close this trade and one other in a small profit and have one running near BE that I will close as well. I have deleted all my pendings and will sit until this issue is resolved. As Bob mentioned before, the middle of December is challenging trading to say the least. Beware of the spreads and spikes and check your trades carefully.......

Tibochina, are you aware that Empty4 candles only show the bid price?

For a buy we enter on the ask and close on the bid. For a short we enter on the bid and close on the ask. So if the ask price was 1-3 pips away from the bid at that moment the TP would not fill. Even though the charts show that price went there the ask may have still been below the TP and as such no fill. Your broker should know about this and advise you of this anyway, unless it really was a liquidity issue but I highly doubt that.

You are going to go crazy in this business if every time price gets close to your SL or TP and doesnt take. The odds are it will happen. You can check the accuracy of your broker by comparing their price with other brokers and see if price moves are approximately equivalent. If price went to the same apporximate area as other brokers then the reading is accurate. If yours stopped and others went 10-15 pips beyond then you have a complaint. If all the other brokers are within a couple of pips as yours it is accurate.

There are tools like http://4xtrader.net/4xguardian/ or similar to control your broker if you are suspicious.
