You will find it in the BE settings, if you want to disable partclose set PartCloseEnabled to false,
with PartClosePercent you can select the closing %
...

I occasionally give thought to banning the posting of setfiles. Over the coming break, I will give it some serious thought.

I understand where you are coming from with this Steve but I think this would be a shame. I certainly agree that anyone blindly using someone else's set file and expecting the same results deserves all that's coming to them (and banning any whining when the results aren't the same would be good ) .

However in my view it is sometimes very useful to compare someone's setfile who is doing very well (or even badly I suppose) to your own to try to work out the areas of difference that might be the cause of good or poor results generally. For example someone might be having great success by using a 2 * ATR stop compared with your poor results with a 1.5 * ATR stop and a light comes on when you realise what "giving the trade room to breathe" means and allows you to play with various ATR settings to see what works best.

Just my opinion of course

Sorry I had misunderstood, I thought if I turned the breakeven setting to false it would automatically turn off the closeonprofit setting as well, thanks for the clarification

I think BASA has pretty much gone into Xmas hibernation now...don't expect too much to happen for the next month.

For me, last week was a small loss...mainly due to myself messing around with the settings.

Moving forward over the next few weeks or so, I have decided to leave BASA turned on with normal settings...I am confident the filters we have in BASA will prevent most trades and I'm keen to monitor how it works on a live account over this period.

By the end of December it will be 4 months live trading...I will update my results then

Well folks, last week and this week was another good weeks with this amazing BASA...After this Friday closing, I will turn off the EA until the first week of Jan. 2014, and wish all a merry Christmas and happy new year.
