Also now SpotdespotCandleCloseTf is default to 0, so this feature is activated properly on all timeframes.
Please download this new version as the intended useLowerTf function will not function properly in older version.

I have more than 10 years of experience in this business, "different brokers give different results" is a very famous sentence and excluding scalper systems this sentence is commonly used and abused to hide a loser system. According to the logic behind this ea there should be very few significant discrepancy between results with different brokers and their feeds/spreads, since this is a system which take very precise positions with alot of pips in TP and SL and a fixed logic.

Your reply is also a bit poor of content other than pointless, the word suspicious, as you may know, means dubious and i have used it cause is simply strange to see such type of huge differences (very negative results like in my tests and brilliant results like in your) and the fact that you come up with bad faith concepts to be honest put now on me another additional question mark in this. We are here to try to pump out the best performance from this system and not to discuss about your ego or others stupid things, you come up with a reply that is even more suspicious than your trading result itself....

You only have to read back through this thread and look at the trades many different people have posted (even ignoring any of my posts)...you will see within the same week/the same day not only results are different, the actual trades taken are different. Assuming they are running default settings like you...the only other difference is the broker and the pairs traded. FWIW I only trade 21 pairs, but certainly trade all the majors.

I have many years experience as well and there have been many times over the years that I have tried systems that other people have been successful with that I have not...probably for many different reasons, however I don't label the system as a 'loser system' it just doesn't work for me, so I move on and find something that does work for me. BASA is one of those systems...for some reason it works for me and it's working on my live account. Is it the holy grail...definitely NOT! Will everyone have success with it...definitely NOT!

Also I am glad you are sharing your results...it is good for everyone to see the big variance in results which should encourage them to perform their own due diligence. You state quite equivocally that BASA is NOT profitable...I would add 'FOR YOU'. For me, BASA IS profitable and I will also share that along with my results. What I didn't like about your post is the use of the word 'suspicious' as quoted below...casting aspersions on people because their results differ to yours is poor form and perhaps in future you should use a better choice of words!

Got a pm and thought i would share my reply here.
Last question first: honestly, i dont have any spectacular results to share. I tried out BASA a month or two ago on 4H and 1H , but it wasnt working out well for me, so i gave up and went around to try out other black box stuff.
But now decidedly have enough of black box stuff, so back to BASA...dissecting, analyzing and catching bugs in the code.

At present,i have two similar demos of BASA 1H , one on Globalprime, another on Forexnation. The trades taken are different and also ForexNation demo is in the red, while GP demo is in the green.
Have been studying bits and pieces of the code prior to replying to this, the difference perhaps is due to the spread protection mechanism in the EA which lead to the trade triggering on one but not on the other and vice-versa.

One of the ways to test would be to set:

extern double   MultiplierToDetectStopHunt=1000; //set to high value so spread protection does not trigger

This is definitely not advisable for live account, only for testing purposes on demo. I might probably draw some flak from Steve for even suggesting this, but it is worth experimenting to find out the root cause of the issue, and if it is, at least we know how to answer this next time.

There are other small code inconsistencies in BASA and will post on this soon.

Hi SpiderX,

Have started testing BASA MTF.

As can be seen from the EURCAD file attached. The trade was closed out as a result of the 2 candle revers after trade was taken. If it possible to make this a user input so one can change the number of candles. For example 4 candles on the H1.
