You can see that on some currencies it broke the upper level temporarily. I believe Capt. Jack would call that a bull trap for his fox followers. I know it got the euro bulls at FF all excited. Some of them got killed yesterday/today.

could I check with you how would u determine which pairs to let them ride down? thanks so much!
I'm a newbie and i'd been trading 10.6 edsel successfully when CSS H4/Daily agrees with dummy lights
Thank you so much for your work on this and for sharing
but when CSS runs counter to dummy lights, I'm a bit lost/confused and haven't been doing well.
could I check that when CSS H4 & Daily is opposite to the dummy lights that means a counter trend trade, and that would indicate a general counter trend at least within the next 24 hours (?)
in such cases we go with the CSS to catch counter trend moves and not the dummy lights?
and then we place a pending buy/sell above or below the H4 DP according to CSS.
Would that be correct?
Thank you so much once again for your time

Re: 10.6 EDSEL
Here is the aud and nzd for the year 2013. You will notice that most of the time the nzd will follow the aud. There are a couple of times they have decoupled and gone their separate ways. Feb and March they did and now Nov and Dec. they did. Watch the AUD line if it goes up and appreciates will the NZD follow?? If it does then these become easy trades to follow. I have finally learned to trade the two most volatile pairs on the board. eur/nzd and gbp/nzd. Whatever the eur/aud gbp/aud does later these pairs will follow. It is easy money so look at those charts and follow. Instead of following your favorite trader at your broker follow the gbp/aud and eur/aud and then copy with the eur/nzd and gbp/nzd. Since I have been mentioning this for a while now in the last 4 months of 2013 I have netted over 3000 pips on the gbp/nzd and almost 2000 on the eur/nzd. You could make a nice living on those two pairs alone with the CSS and following the gbp/aud and eur/aud.

Dummy lights work great in a trend however, this is a rule in Forex and learn it well.kenguo2000 » Fri Jan 03, 2014 8:26 am wrote:hi Bobnanningbob » Fri Jan 03, 2014 12:02 am wrote:Now that was a nice day. Euro and GBP sell off................ Time for bed and letting some of them ride.

WHEN A FUNDAMENTAL NEWS STORY COMES INTO PLAY INDICATORS ARE USELESS.
Noone knew what was happening during the last couple of days of 2013 except for very experienced traders with euro currencies. Most of them are smart though and dont trade that time of year. Writers at FF were saying all sorts of stupid stuff. I dont trade much after Dec. 15 and shut down for the year but when I saw that runup and understood what it was (euro banker end of year books) I looked for the run back down and ignored the indicators. That has nothing to do with indicators but knowledge of fundamentals of what drives a currency pair. Indies will not begin showing you price action again until next week. However, watch what price does around that 240 line for the next couple of days. Some of these pairs maybe reversing direction and you will know about it before others will. Euro and JPY going south and the NZD, USD going strong is very possible. I am watching. aud and gbp may go along for the ride with them or range. We will see.

Newbies should stick with trend trades until you can master them. Then and then only should you turn your attention to CT trades.kenguo2000 » Fri Jan 03, 2014 12:26 am wrote:hi Bobnanningbob » Fri Jan 03, 2014 12:02 am wrote:Now that was a nice day. Re: 10.6 EDSEL
Bob, do you have some trick to copy EURAUD on EURNZD?
I´m trying to see the differences but I don´t get it. Do you spot de divergences looking at the Stoch? (it seems easier than looking at price) At this moment both stochs move in the same way. If EURAUD stoch changes in a different way at any moment (divergence), so we can think the odds are high EURNZD will copy in the same direction?
Is it dangerous or advisable going to lower TF (as 15M) to catch quicker the divergences?
Thank you again for sharing your experience.
