Start when forex week starts and stop when forex week stops - no gaps or fill in candles. Have seen a number of other mods say they will not trade live with non synched H4 & H1 candles. Long term traders cope as that seems normal to them, but really makes no sense to stick with GMT which is just an arbitrary line and 2-3 hrs off Forex week time. Just thought worth raising - again

Totally agree. New demo server will be launched with GMT +3 (proper 5 candles) change and this will of course translate to our live server as well. Of course adequate warning will be given. Thanks for the feedback!

would someone mind reccomending an aussie broker that offers micro accounts please?
Im really impressed with global prime , but no micro accounts. and id rather learn with very low risk.

Most offer accounts with 0.01 lot, GP also has it as its minimum lot size. On the deposit side, Cowboy Go Markets has 100 aud minimum, Bully Pepperstone & ic markets 200. They also offer min lot of 0.01. There must be others too, check investing.com. I have been with fxopen aus previously and they had terrible disconnection times. Now with Bully Pepperstone with no issue so far. But if you are looking for lower deposit to learn, you should go to oanda Empty4 or their java platform and play with cents and custom micro lots (no min. deposit). Don't think anyone is offering something similar in Australia (perhaps roboforex).

edit: Cowboy Go Markets is now usd 500 minimum, but at some point had a learner account with $1 deposit. No longer 0.01 lot too.

thanks sakisf, deposits not a worry, within reason.
I was after micro , or some call it nano 0.001 lot size' or 1 cent. me thinks
Think i may have to try Cowboy IBFX uk , if there is none in au

IC Markets for sure if you're looking for ASIC regulated micro accounts.

I would also recommend staying away from Cowboy Go Markets/Vantage regardless of your needs. They are both owned by the same parent company that tried to annul thousands of my profits; only after ASIC and the FOS (Financial Ombudsman Service) got involved did they give them back. You've been warned!

i'm new here but already years with fx trading.
been use several brokers as lister at firstpage.
Oanda : managing US clients account, 1:50 leverage, FIFO rule, NO hedging. "why dont just they lend me a CUB and ask me living in the Cave".
Cowboy Go Markets : an egypt clients ask me to traded with his account. good one, execution are fair, but it would be nice if the lower the spread.
FXCM : open an account several times, managing client account, and even met with their HK Representative, conclusion is, typical MM brokers, google it and you'll now what i'm saying.
just like any other retail traders, we often move from one brokers to another, just to find a suitable place, a friendly enviroment for our trading strategies. now i'm with several brokers, is there anyone here with Armada Markets ? I open my ecn account with them, offer low spread, especially with EURUSD (0.7 spread+comm), gold spread are 10 ( planning on gold trading, some friend said gold are at low by now, any gold technical outllook will appreaciate ). i plan to increase my account with them, this where i need any thought,experience, review about armada markets. any advice would help me alot.

I was cruising along happy with IC markets but increasing my withdrawals, then suddenly I was asked to provide bank statements and proof of ID on the last full balance withdrawal on my account, very strange and delay tactics from what I could tell. Anyway frustrated me enough so closed my account.

There are so many brokers out there to choose from and the competition for clients is high, at least here in Australia. Currently still with (or using) DMMFX and Pepper.

Past experience has shown me that once you are consistently profitable strange events begin to happen until you are asked to leave. On the hunt for a broker who doesn't mind me withdrawing funds.

Go to Global Prime for goodness sake. How much recommendation can you possibly need? They are in my Welcome message to new members, my wrup, my signature and a fair few of my posts.

Just go to Global Prime, ok? Most so-called brokers are just plain criminals out to separate you from your cash and will go to any lengths to do so. GP is a genuine, actual broker with a vested interest in you succeeding. The peace of mind afforded to GP clients is like a breath of fresh air. GP likes it when you withdraw funds - your trading has been successful and they have made their commission.
