amazing, took some trades today based on the CSS and ST07 and went to bed, woke up saw my GBPNZD trade was up 100 pips so jumped on it... I know i should have probably just moved the SL to lock in profit and let the market decide where to exit, but im to green for that, right now im just harvesting pips.

I'm in a bunch of trades with CSS pointing away from each other. A couple of stop losses were hit and I went back to zero, but now I'm up over 600 pips (open profits), looking to close them when CSS starts to turn over.

EDIT: I think I will change the 15 MA for the 10 MA on the 1H, I've seen that price reacts better and you can play the bounces off the MA with more confidence when the CSS are pointing away from each other.

Prices tend to go in spurts and we had some nice ones today.

Collected +55 on NZDUSD and +52 on NZDCHF..yes.. great action today.

Today was a good day for me, probably my single best day since starting Forex. (I promise that is not a joke)

UJ = 20pips
CJ = (16pips)
EN = (8pips)
GJ = 4pips
NCAD = 18pips
NU = 11pips
AU = 10pips
EA = 22pips
NCHF = 32pips
ACHF = 10pips
GA = 70pips
ACAD = 5pips
GN = 72pips

Total more or less 250 pips...

Pendings were set 8am ZA time and profits taken 3:15pm ZA time, what I figured was more or less mid session, as per Bob's method. I could have left them, but I would not have known where these positions would have gone, so I am grateful to have banked some pips.

Ok my first 2014 week closed trading 10.4/10.6 and another winning week for me (+12,5%), i'm really amazed how simply and perverted at the same time could be forex trading.
Btw i keep my trading very simple, look over 20 pairs (and daily css) and place my pending orders accordingly, very simple, and to be noted that i'm mostly wrong on my trades infact usually my losses are more than winners , this week i had 17 trades in loss and only 14 winners but the aggregate winners are more than losers so at the end my account growth around 12% (i'm pushing with risk trading 0.04 lots/trade for 1000 euro account and can handle around 10-15 trades at a time), sometime when i have big gain in a trade (more than 100 pips) i move sl so to lock some profit, my stoploss starts always at 240 MA and is trailed automatically by a simple ea i made.
And most important all of this with very low stress since this is a long term trading using H4/H1 charts , i take a look from time to time to the chart but i'm not glued at the screen looking and praying for a single pips move

what about this setup?
eur/aud: below both moving averages; stoch was at 100 and now dropping below 80, css daily eur going down and aud going up.
any opinions....

I see everyone had a good time yesterday. It is unusual for Monday to have such big moves. If it happens all week .................. but not likely. Will look for it though.
