I am testing the eur/chf/usd ring, when the eur spiked in the Asian session, the basket was closed at a loss. Some of the trades has the following entries in the comment column.

Any Empty4 gurus could tell me what is this ?

I think that is a margin call. When it is below 100%, the biggest loser will be closed.

Thanks. I also suspect that. I am trading 0.5 lot in a 10,000 account with leverage 100:1 and it triggers a margin call.

five different crims: Best has been FinFx, then SmartFX, Hot FX, Cowboy Go Markets.
SigTrader fell in a ditch.
Using big lot sizes is ideal, as Steve suggested, but the broker is critical. Currenex might be ideal.
I have bumped TP to 15 on some of them.
Market has been flat for days, but up 25% on FinFx., end of week two.

Are you testing both SBB and BSS ? What is your lot size relative to account balance?

Testing only the original Ring of three pairs concept. Lot sizes are 10% of balance for each trade. My pretend 1 mil. dollar account used 100 lots per trade for week one; 110 lots for week two.
Both FinFx and Smartforex are up 25% on Friday, although the latter is a 10K account with lots of 1.0 and 1.10, respectively. Hot forex started a couple of days ago, and is up 7%. Cowboy Go Markets is up about 18% for the two weeks. Sig Trader was well behind all these with about 11% for two weeks. Tadawul did not permit huge lot sizes, so I dropped it. Leverage is 100/1 on all crims. I want to know, of course, if it will blow up. Glenn

Tarrini: Yes, I am stacking.
Hot forex is giving me the highest margin%, which I presume reflects lower spreads.
I liked Brian's idea, but fear that it will disrupt the inherent safety of the ring. Now, I wonder
what rings could be used when the Euro and Yen and Dollar collapse completely. Thanks to central banking, that is sure to occur. Glenn

Thurs: Fin FX; TP 18 pips. : up 40%; now in week 3.
SmartForex ; TP 18: up 29%
18 seems to be too high for most crims. Stacking gets too deep for comfort.
Going back to TP 6, retaining the 10% lot sizes.

I find one indicators based in the Kreslik's FPI. Is for the trio USD-EUR-JPY but easily adaptable a USD-EUR-CHF.

If you use it we can find the highs and lows of the trio relation.

¿Is possible to use this indicator as a trigger to buy-sell? If we are capable of initiate the trader in a high o low moment I think it will be easy to reach the 6 pips level.

I made some maths, if we use the FPI indicator we must begin the trade in the low position and close in the high.
Today, for example, in the USD-EUR-CHF we have 0,9977 at 12:09:53 and 1,0039 at 15:39. That's, theoretical, 63 pips. We must rest the spread and the slippage but, even in this case, we have a profit without risk so we can use high lots and leverage.

The key, of course, is the timing and the broker.
