Andy's Multitrader version are trading great so far...So far today it have "earned" me $167,on my $5000 demoacc. Trading 0.10 lot,the rest is default.

Following a tiff with Steve last night (on the FXAW thread - don't bother checking now, the posts have already been deleted...), I think Andy took down some of his posts :/

I will however post Andy's MultiTrader on post #1 [ and here also ], I think it's got good running legs.

Hi dudest,

Have checked the code. the error is of no consequence to the code function, but i have released a new version to remove this error in my original post.
Btw, since price action is your speciality...have you considered how accurate is price action at each of these boundaries ?
i.e Buy on bullish engulfing/ double bullish engulfing on or below the lower band, or sell on bearish engulfing on or above the upper band , bi-directional in the middle.
Keep it simple and do only bullish/ bearish engulfing.
These may show some promise on the H4 or daily chart.

I have considered ( and written ) a couple of 'price action' EAs ( engulfing bars, pinbars, 2-bar reversals aka railroad tracks)...but none really worked out so well.

I realize there's a LOT we take for granted that our eyes and subconscious logic do for us when looking at a chart; getting an EA to do the same thing is another thing altogether!

For this particular EA though, I haven't checked out how PA works at the boundaries. Starting out with only one PA setup is a clever idea, easier to implement and use. I will look into this!

[ PS: what I *have* noticed at the boundaries are Captain Jack's bull and bear traps ( donno the correct name for them ). The ones where you have a big housing candle with a long wick ( not a pinbar ), and then the resultant candles are inside bars as price reverses. They seem to occur pretty frequently! ]

For backtest/eyeballing purposes, you should to run the non-repaint version through backtest mode.
You should notice that price goes beyond the bands sometimes before retracing back into the bands, those look like nice points to take engulfing patterns.
It could be possible to trade only engulfing patterns at the top or bottom bands only....maybe fewer setups but higher probability.
I was running the no-repaint on 1 min and observe that engulfing patterns were pretty respectable at that time, for daily, it was not so much, while 4H shows some potential.
Some food for thought.

Notes:

1) MultiTrader concept is brilliant (thanks Andy)

2) New ver F will open alot less trades than earlier versions but (hopefully) with alot fewer losses (hence greater profit overall)

3) I'm using GLOBAL PRIME for the demos now ( and I plan to use GP for the live as well ).
Noticed on Axi that when trading EURCHF, the leverage was being down-graded (hence required higher margin). On the other hand, all is well and good with GP, and lower spreads as well. This suits the MultiTrader just well. [ My Standard a/c on Axi is more suited to my manual swing trading , where a (more-or-less) fixed spread is advantageous ]

4) Both demos are OOTB, no fancy sets
