This CSS had other values as the Info Page CSS. And at the template the NZD Slope angles sharp up. At moment it looks not as much power for GBPNZD. Maybe later.

Not too much of a "pro" but i think the info pages' CSS is a combined quantity of all pairs that you have, showing u relative strength of all the pairs in respect to each other. The one on daily, on the other hand, compares just the two currencies.

Of course, I may be wrong, but thats how I understand it. Maybe Bob can help out here.

what a messed up week, is all i can say.
I have stoped all trades ahead of FOMC, down about 250 pips for the week, with AUD and NZD kicking my butt.

hi guys, the css thing is confusing a lot of people including me, looking at the 4 hour now for instance, nzd is angling up, on the daily its down, so when you start off the day what do you look for first, i've just been placing trades from the daily pendings and market trades, but if the 4 hour is showing different readings from the daily your trade is going to go against you, so the 4 hour i think is just showing retracements, if bob can elaborate, or somebody else cheers

Hi Art,
Yes I think you are right that the 4H shows what are retracements on the Daily... but that retracement could be the start of a reversal too!
Same if you look at the CSS on a lower tf again.. H1 could be retracements of H4 etc...
I've been looking at using the H4 css as a trigger for entry into the D1 css direction.. i.e. if the D1 CSS is showing a Short, wait for the H4 css to cross & agree also... Doesn't always work, but it's an alternative to stoch entries

i think thats correct, i think bobs developing an alert when both 4 hour and daily agree, or it may be baluda not sure

Raising $ 1'000 minimum is going to be difficult, no joke, could take about 18 months *if* nothing else goes wrong in the rest of my finances (yes, it is that bad, I have even stopped smoking in order to save money, whilst good for my health, I really miss the tobacco :arrrg: )


Just a thought Hannes, if you are a South African like myself which I am assuming you are :| Forgive me if I am wrong. The rand is basically worthless against the dollar right now. I have intentions to invest with Gobal Prime, but right now I have to sit out. If I invest in a broker it would be in Dollars which would cost me an arm and a leg right now and if the Rand had to strengthen against the Dollar I would basically lose before I even started trading. The Day you invest money in your broker you are exchanging currencies. Remember that. If I had to take out profits from my broker, now is the time I would do it because the Rand means Nada against the Dollar :D

I said that a few weeks ago but couldn't get a response from Bob. It looks to me that H4 CSS is a pullback/retracement of D1 CSS.

I also noticed that when you match H4 STO7 signals with D1 STO7 signals.... huge moves happens.

yep i agree - multi-timeframe matching is a great way for good trades
it makes sense... if lower tf signal agrees with a higher tf signal, it should be good news.
I keep both the D1 & H4 css on my H4 chart (using Baluda's 1.0.9 CSS)

Sto7 on H4 & D1 agreeing - also good as you say.
