Reverse of Dsugums 6 pips

I was looking at the dsugums 6 pips system and an Idea popped up,
with the system, your in the trade, and then hoping that the spreads will widen but in the correct order to push the basket into profit, against you is time ( as swap will eat into the profit)

but what if we had a EA, which would track a virtual basket and let us know the norm spread of each basket.... then once the spreads widen either positive or negative out side of the range, we would enter in a contra move expecting the discreprency to move back into its norm.

This can be done for any pair ( obviously the tighter the spread the better, but the less popular pairs can have bigger out of whack moves )

Please don bite my head off if this has already been thought off and talked about, I just wanted to contribute to this wonderful forum
