Hi there, so I updated Empty4 this morning, and I am finding odd things happening, across all my different broker platforms. Price seems to freeze for anything from 1s to 30s and then price refreshes, what got me worried is that it always happens when price is moving in my favour, that is why I tested it across all 4 platforms, including a demo and surely enough precisely the same thing happens across all 4 at the same time.

So, is this price feed, Empty4 manipulations or my data connection (wireless)?? Any opinions?
I am thinking my data connection...

which brokers exactly? and have u won a sizable amount off them already?

Hi Kwanann, I don't know if I'm allowed to name names here, but they are brokers that have mostly good reviews on FPA, kind of. I have never had trouble with them before at all...

I am only trading and making profits on the one account (CJ's naked trading) and yes, I have doubled the account in the space of about a week (very small account, from 80$ to 150$). I am not trading any other accounts, I am wanting to learn CJ's way first.

As I mentioned, I have found this same problem across all 4 platforms, including one that is a demo...So now I am not so sure.

Plan on looking at this afternoons Yellen speech to see how it goes, but I must admit that it has me more than a little bit worried...

Let me know if I can post broker names then I will gladly give up all the details...

This "stickiness" in Empty4 is happening at the moment, just before news comes out...oh boy, more tricks I assume?

Sorry that this is off topic, but I would like to know if the other naked traders are experiencing the same.

prior to a news event it is normal for "loss" of price ticks, which will then appear as a gap

Okay, back to naked trading.

Is anybody looking at pins prior to news to trade the news event? From what I can see is the Fox's tracks all over the USD pairs. I have two trades going at the moment. Will see how they go, news and platform freezing notwithstanding.

Well, I managed to bank some pips. Of course, I closed out to early, but green is green...

Still gotta get my confidence back I am afraid. But overall, so far so good.

I have to admit though that the platform freezing also influenced my decision to close out...

Edit: On second thoughts, I went back and checked performance today. It turns out I managed to add 20% of equity with those two trades, not bad AT ALL. So I think that I will stop being so hard on myself. However, I still have to reach my first goal for the week which is to end in the green, all other gains are secondary to me at the moment.

I'd like to post what I have done, but I can't get the I-History indicator to work for some reason...Eish.

Since I have started trading CJ's way, I have increased equity by about 135% (40% of that 135% came today, I started trading this way on 30.01.2014) So stepping back from the humdrum of trading, the results actually look very good given that this increase took place in little more than a week...And this ties in to my first goal of every week, to end in the green.

I hope that it is not to early, but I do believe that thanks is in order to CJ and everyone (Including NanningBob) else that has tolerated my posts and Noob questions.

Can someone perhaps help me with the I-History indicator as in a solution for why it is not showing any data?

Or, perhaps provide another indicator, I think that I am thinking of the one the Xrismak uses...
