Hi Tommaso,

Would you consider including the thread page number in the bookmark labels of posts? Currently, all bookmark labels are the same for all posts of different pages of a thread, so that if you bookmarked a number of posts from different pages, you cannot tell them apart in a list because they would all bear the same labeling.

For instance, the bookmark label for this thread is:

stevehopwoodforex.com • View topic - Board TechNews

and this same label comes up for every post in the thread. Instead, it could bear something like:

stevehopwoodforex.com • Pg xx - Board TechNews

Pg xx being the page of the thread that the post is in. I hope this wont be too much trouble.

With the bookmark function, you mark an entire thread. It is thought that you can make your own favourite list of threads with out getting informed, if there are new posts in this thread.
For bookmarking single posts, or pages of a topic you must at the moment use the browser's favourite list function. Maybe I will in future extend the functionality of the board bookmarking system, as the boardsoftware is, like you can read here, in continued development for getting more and more user friendly.

New the automatic given post subject is the topic subject without the "Re:", remember you can make your posts more interesting for others to read, or easier to find, in giving them an individual title..

I understand now better, the problem is that the pagenumbers are generated through the board-preferences, means how many posts are set to be shown at each page, so internal we have no pagenumber related with a post. It would be possible with the boardbookmark system to bookmark a single post, like at the moment you can bookmark an entire topic or forum. At exp. your last post is post number 86367 so it is saved in the database, too is saved the related topic_id and the related forum_id, there is no variable so far for a "page_id" as would make no sense.

And again a new forum function, now you can view the forum topiclist too, in alphabetical order, what makes it much easier to find a topic if search for a specific name of a topic..

just click at "Forum in alphabetical order" at the right side over the topic list...
