Monday Zone Break Out EA

Just out of curiosity, how long does your computer take to run the backtest tick for tick, over the time frame that you studied. My system doesn't appear to have enough under the bonnet, no optic, and many lagging servers in between. What would make it possible to complete in a (relative) short period of time ? any suggestions would be appreciated

It depends wich EA. MZBO takes about 15 minutes. Marylin takes 60 minutes for 5 1/2 years of data. My backtesting life changed when I start using Tickdata suite. Even if you have to be very carefull will Empty4 backtesting results, it gives me a better idea of setting needed. Then live data demo test are needed for proof of use.

You need lot of disk space, wich cause me many problems with last Empty4 builds

If you test with backdata that uses GMT, but your broker uses at exp. GMT+2/3 you must adapt the setting of EndOfZoneDetermingHour this is important..., too this setting may the most interesting to play with..

And here comes a new version, now the SR indi from slipshod is embedded in the code, the EA will only open the trade if we are not to near to a SR zone and if the H4 240 LWMA is in the right direction of the trade.
The TP management is the same as in the "TP3" version.
Please as always set the advertised spread to value working with your broker, and maybe you will play with the EndOfZoneDetermingHour as this is the most important setting. Used is OOTB GMT+2/3, if your broker uses GMT you must deduct 2(3) hours, if you backtest, notice that often testdata uses GMT.The setting always is using the brokertime not your computertime.
Only for new 6xx builds.

I was just about to confirm that TP3X2 is better then TP3X1 that was better then TP3, and now what, a new version. I can't wait to test it. I was starting to get good results with many different pairs. What I like we this EA is that you may have little DD.

By the way, what is the difference between TP3X2 and TP3X1. I guess it's about SL2. If it could help, the SetBEMinPipTP2 setting has very little impact on results.

The differece between the X1 and X2 versions is that X2 is made for 6xx build with minor changes nothing else, both have the difference to the TP3 version that the do have too an advanced moving sl management for the TP2-Trade.

argh still no trades. i shall try and put more exact spread values from the global prime website, as i didnt have them to hand over the weekend i just put a generic 3 pip spread per pair in time for the opening.
