Like in my case - if there is a 10.6 EDSEL setup but the CSS contradicts it, do you still take the trade?
For me is that a little confused!

The H4 Chart gives signal for short. Price is under the MA240 too.
The H1 Chart Stoch7 is at bottom, near by long signal.

CSS daily both goes down, so normally the price ranges.

For me at moment the CSS is more confusion than support.

You need to read the overall market. Of the 24 currencies 23 are just above or below the 240 and are inside or just touched the 60 MA line. Its a flat market and until something breaks it out it is a slow go of grinding out the pips here and there. I have no trades over 45 pips profit and only a handful over 25 pips. I am just grinding out a trade here and there. It will be ugly until something happens. Right now any kind of profit I see is going in the bank. You are trying to blame an indicator for lack of market movement and that is backwards.

it shows how unpredictable this market is, i was long audjpy, saw the aud turning down on the 4 hour and daily so got out a few pips profit, and sure enough its reversing if you can watch the css its brilliant at forecasting, trouble is you need to be watching

We can also see that is a ranging market because the candles are very small compared with the biggers when the market is really moving.

Also, and this is for Bob..... although I'm not a news trader, I notice in the few past weeks that the markets have been news driven. This Sunday, Monday, Tuesday there is no important news,

I looked historic market, particulary NZD JPY H4 and I note often that when the STO7 down in UT and give a signal, the CSS down too and pass inside 20 and -20 :/. It's normal or I'm wrong ?

Thanks

I dont trade news stories either but I watch them. I try to make sure I dont get surprised too much. USD/CAD looks like it could break. Probably later though. Wonder if CAD will continue to strengthen after a good stretch of weakness.

Every JPY Sell has crossed the pivot line except aud/jpy and cad/jpy. So we see how far they will run today and the rest of the week. I dont expect much action this week but more action later next week.

The aud is approaching the 0 line on both the daily and 4H CSS so aud weakness may come into play later this week.
The chf, eur, gbp, are showing the most strength on the daily CSS but it is not strong. They are dead center on the 4H so can go in any direction. Tough reads but JPY weakness seems like the best shot for now.

Cad Strength intrigues me.
