Trade Copier

Has anyone come across an EA, or developed one, that can be used as a trade copier?

I know commercial solutions exist, but would rather not tie into such a product.

Recently Steve posted this comment:

"FXAW Entropy ....... The signals generated by Craig's algorithm ..... They are sent to a signals receiver that sits on the trading platform. A single 'slave' EA translates these signals into a form that the trade management EA's ('Tradebot') can recognise and work with"

What I am looking for is a signal generator and a signal receiver, in the form of an EA, that I can control and own.

Does such a beast exist? If not, any thoughts on what would be needed to construct one?

Any thoughts or help greatly appreciated.

Hi you can take a look here http://code.google.com/p/mt4tradeduplicator/ it is an open source project, I personally not have tried it...

PS unfortunately this project is limited to copying within the one computer. I am looking to pass information over the www to remote computers.

Anyone have access to any code?

Don't be so silly. People here have offered you perfectly good suggestions. Accept them or go away. Nobody is going to be arsed to write their own when there are such great solutions already available free of charge or restriction.

I use the mt4i ea dudest linked you to, to copy trades from one of my live accounts to an account I run for a former student. That is me the forum owner using this stuff. You want a stronger recommendation? You will not get it.
