Time to set pendings soon?
High impact news on GBP. Potential setup on GBPCHF with trend, H1 and H4 stoch lining up, price above red TMA, and price maybe bouncing off LWA. CHF is not everyones favourite and there is a lot of high impact news coming up. Personally I'm going to sit this one out, because I will need to sleep, manual manage of trades is best and not a fan of trading around news. I've got 2 nice CT trades running on EURNZD and EURAUD taken this morning.
Yamez, on sto7 you have another line.... is that a Sto 7 of H4? Also I notice that you have the news attached to the chart.

Can you be kind to share both indies?
Thanks in advance.

@ Getje, good to see around again.

Yes, that is the Sto 7 of H4. I have set the news indicator to high impact only. My broker is still on build 509, so I don't know if these indicators will work with the newer builds.

I'm not Bob, but give it a shot. Maybe Bob will drop by and comment me on my readings.

NZD is staying on top, and keeps getting stronger. Will be looking for retraces to get back into the several pairs and keep the open trades running.
CHF/ EUR are declining, but still above 0.2 so they will stay strong but their strength is slowing down. TP at the first sign of weekness.
AUD went above 0, so is starting to follow the NZD into positive territory. Will be looking for buy's, eve when below 60/240MA. TP a.s.a.p.
JPY/ USD/ CAD/ GBP flat, with the last 3 below -0.2 so looking to sell these.

All pairs except AUD seem to be good candidates to sell against the NZD.
Smashed on the USD move last night - stops hit all over. There is another USD big news event tonight so sitting on the sidelines. Might place some pendings, but generally sitting on the sidelines.

I only have faith in the NZD getting stronger and CAD getting weaker. Rest of the majors are very choppy so staying out.

Trading using CSS and MST trading, with channels, H4 CT.

Hope this will help anyone still trying to learn CSS. This is not a catch all.. but there are definately some great setups and situations to watch for where CSS will give a heads up and lead the way to potential market conditions.

The following real trades were focused on EU, GBP, YEN and USD.. particularly focused in on the YEN maintaining the Trend Line, showing consistent and continuing weakness holding to the self drawn Trendline. Since Yen held TL, my focus was to sell yen weakness and buy the counter currencies when timing was right.

Vertical lines on the chart show points where trade conditions setup.
1) First trade setup, buy USDJPY.
2) Next.. when GBP moved back up -0.20 I bought GBPJPY
3) Next... EUR turned up against the Yen, bought EURJPY
4) EURUSD dropped below +0.20, Sold EURUSD. EUR had not crossed below USD yet.. but USD was rising to meet EUR. This makes for a positive USD and negative EUR.. Sell EURUSD.

Trade results:
1) USDJPY: +89 pips, 1/2 position
2) GBPJPY: +102 pips 1/2 position
3) EURJPY: +32 pips 1/2 position
4) EURUSD: +117 pips 1/2 position.

Gain on account in past 48 hours: +2.71 %

Yes.. I was in several of these positions prior to the fed announcement on tapering based on CSS. After the announcement, based on CSS, at 50 pip intervals, positions were increased per trade management rules.

Once position equity reached certain levels and with STo7 confirming (along with my own proprietary utility) 1/2 positions are closed, with stops move to b/e +.

Important: In my professional opinion, the Fed announcement and resulting price action only confirmed what the CSS already was forecasting prior to the announcement. These positions were opened several hours prior to the news.

Trades were made based on 1) CSS, 2) H4 counter trend trades back into the direction of the MST.

Cheers

OK now I am having trouble getting new templates and indis to work this week. For example I created a template at home to use on the same Empty4 I B F X USA as I use at work. None of the templates will work when I put them in the folder. I can get most indis to work if I copy into a working indi and then save and rename the indie. However I cant get any of the TMA to work. They work at home but when I compile them here at school they show a bunch of errors. So I am this far into this right now on a 1H chart when price movement is not that great on the 4H or higher charts.

10.6 trade, aud/cad double green bars, STO 7 on bottom waiting for signal back into the trend. DP would be a good place to enter. AUD on CSS is still stronger than CAD on CSS even though it is going down. Just means its rate of acceleration is slowing down versus the CAD which is still declining steeply. So DP entrance is it. 1H CSS will have the aud crossing back up over the CAD to validate the trade.

H E L P!!!! Alpari UK seems to have disappeared from the surface of the earth! I have not been able to access my account with them for the past 4 hours or so and all their web sites cannot any longer be found. Would anyone have any info on what's going on with them?
