CSS is only a reference to go look. If you study the charts only you should come to a similar conclusion. The one thing it helps though is you can see two currencies trading places strength/weakness wise. Hopefully at some time I can put a book together on its concepts. It will be easier to comprehend once that is done. Problem is work wise I am swamped.

The TMA you are using which version and the double lines, What are your settings? I want a TMA version that sends a warning. At some point we will get someone that can put a simple signal system together. Please post what version you use and if it is one that sends a signal.
Thank you for your thoughts on CSS and your template.

Place the TMA+CG indicator on twice. One set to bands deviation 1.6185, the other 1.272, BoldTraders settings. The Indicator does have alerts but I have never tested them. I'll test the alerts.

My broker is still on build 509, so I do not know if TMA+CG will work with later builds.
This one gives me a bunch of error codes when I compile it. It has the char problem that Steve mentioned.

This is kind of what I am looking at for a valid CT trade. DP is near top of TMA band, STO 7 ready to give a signal. Can play cross of DP or xxx.050 on this one.

OK I am trying to decide what would work better the TMA true or the TMA 2BCG. The TMA true waves to the highest and lowest spots and gives you slightly better entrances but the 2BCG gives you some trades the TMA would not. I set my TMA at 1.5 ATR to make it narrower. Both however filter out STO 7 reads where you would be in the middle someplace so I see real value in both of these indis. It would mean fewer SL for some and fewer 2nd entrances for me. If both give warnings beyond their outer lines we then would have a good look at a trade setup. Trying to decide which one would work better. Will have to study lots of charts this weekend but will not have the time. :) TMA true are gold and black lines, TMA 2bcg are green and red. Actually price going outside both is a good set up to return unless a strong trend is showing and the CSS would gives us a heads up on that one.

I feel a little more confident using channels than bands. Channels are masculine (simple, straight and clear). Bands are feminine (seductive, curved and deceiving), This one is (as TMACG) also based in center of gravity and gives very good entries and takeprofit areas.

had some time on my hands.....

1. FastTmaLine - updated for b6xx

2. As there were some free buffers, also one variation that allows for two bands, so you only have to put the indicator once on the charts

Use at your own risk.....

I see cmag uses fib numbers what is the difference between them. For example tma has an are function so it adapts to a currency volatility how does this adapt?

It´s quite hermetic. I couldn´t find any information about its calculation method (even the number of bars), only a quote about the use of center of gravity in its core. After testing a lot of channels (SHI, regression, demark, etc) this odd one is the most close I could find to fastTMA lines. The only advantage for me is psychological. Bands makes me nervous and straight lines calms me. Sounds silly and for sure it is, but we must feel calm for trading and in my case trendlines and channels make me feel confident.
