New Empty4 Update 600 screws up all indis and EAs

When I compile my EA's with build 600 I get "Warnings" :

return value of 'OrderSelect' should be checked

What can I add to fix this?

If you attach your EA , I will take a look how to fix it for 6xx builds..

It's driving me mad, downloaded new demo from global version 625, another new build, and I'm having problems installing ea's, indies, some indies open, templates don't show up, etc etc a real pain and time consuming

it works here with the latest build are you sure you have put the file in the right folder? You should look out for a folder in win7 normally here C:\Users\user_name\AppData\Roaming\MetaQuotes\Terminal\, and take the installation with the latest modified date..
Or use this to find out where the correct "Data folder" location is, is to read the "Journal" log of Empty4.
The second line from start reports the used Data folder.
In win7 you will find it normally here C:\Users\user_name\AppData\Roaming\MetaQuotes\Terminal\

Gordon, the other thingy to do is learn the difference between a warning that does bugger all and an error that stops compilation. Do that and you will save yourself a lot of angst.

I always use the '/portable' switch to keep things simple for myself and my programmer. You right-click on terminal.exe and 'create shortcut'. Then right-click on the shortcut and view properties. On the shortcut tab, add the /portable switch to the program target path.

If you were using an application like CNS Autoboot or AlwaysUp, then you could just pass the /portable argument in the launch settings without using a separate shortcut.

I can't really see a good reason why anyone would want to use the roaming folder for terminal data. I have all my mt4s installed outside of the program files folder anyway.

Thanks Tommaso, I figured it out myself by analysing one of metaquotes free EA's. I changed:

OrderSelect(Blah, Blah, Blah);

to:

if (OrderSelect(Blah, Blah, Blah) == false) break;

and that got rid of the warning.
