10.9 DAILY/WEEKLY TRADES ONLY

This version and settings are for daily trading only. If you have the patience to take only 1-3 trades a month and ride it out. This is for you. One indi and a blank screen that is it. The rules are posted in the 10.7 thread but that thread is for 4H TF and lower. Those that want to discuss longer term daily trades this is for you. So I called it 10.9 and the settings on the indicator are for daily trading screens. The screen is naked with no other indis for the simple fact none other are needed. We take the signal and then wait for the trade to develop.

Pictures and examples of trades are posted inside the folder. Put the indi in the indi folder and the template in the template folder. I have one account I will be only daily trading. Probably put it on 8-10 currency pairs and that is it. I will be trading 10 cents per thousand on my trades and may go higher as my skill with this grows. Remember this is a test version and is at V.17. The last version tested live was V.7 so we have added a lot of bells and whistles since then. However most of those have nothing to do with this system. The indi will help you enter and exit trades and give you warnings of both. 10.9 Test #2 doesnt change much from test #1 except I have added the Monthly 2.1 STO which is the green line and the COG_TMA. Is also updates all the indis from last week. Included however is the 10.7 and 10.10 templates along with the updated scripts. This new folder is posted at the 10.7 thread.

Beautiful. Backtesting it in some charts. First impression: it can´t be true!

Let´s see how Weekly Sto7 works in real time. But it´s so fast and accurate that even if we must skip monday as a trading day it will be still faster than other indis.

Thanks, of course, to Tomasso. I don´t understand yet all the setting features of the indi (TMA?), but it seems he spent a lot of time and did a terrific work here. :hi:

I love daily trades. As I don´t use stop loss I´m used to keep trades for months. This system we´ll be of great help to keep only the good ones. The new swap system you are working on is also very promising for long term traders and I´m happy to see that there is a swap filter coded in the indicator.

I can only say I started last week directly after market open with trading this system and I had no loosing trade last week..
Yes TMA-Slope (it uses MA60 ATR) you can use for the exit alert system just set this to true (You must too have ExitAlerts activated)

Has anyone experience trading weekend gaps? I remember having read some time ago that the most usual way of trading these gaps (produced in the weekend premarket) was betting for price coming back to friday´s close. So, if the gap is up you should bet on a fall of the price, etc. I was wondering how weekly STO7 give a so fast bias for the week and if this early gaps (generating these 'back to the friday' moves) could have some influence. Watching weekly charts, we must agree that full bodied candles are everywhere, as if the weekly direction was set by an invisble hand during the weekend. I confess I have not analized this before, just because when I started reading 10.0 (first system where I saw the weekly open as a factor), it was too late. 10.4 caught my attention making me forget that old 10.0 insight.

Suddenly, sunday night (so boring until now) has become an exciting field to analize.

So basically if I want to trade the 10.7 on h4/daily charts i can also use 10.9 indicators posted here ?
