The little circles allows you to backtest the TDMTL. This is how to do it. Remeber when you see the circles you have to have 3 completed candles before you can draw the TL. Also you need to make nice triangles, though sometimes they are not symmetrical and can be odd shaped.

1. using the square tool from the Empty4 tool bar blacken the areas which will make the future. Looks like this.
2. connect the circles and make your TL triangle.
REMEMBER YOU MUST HAVE 3 CANDLES FOR CIRCLE TO BE VALID.
YOU MUST MAKE A TRIANGLE OF SOME KIND TO TRADE.
3. In this trade we have a fake out TL trade with the W2.1 on top so we dont take it.
4. It reverses and swings back up giving us our STO7 signal to trade back into the trend.

We then follow the trade up. That is how you can back test with the TDMTL indi.

How the TDMTL maker can save you from a bad trade. The USD/JPY was as dead as could be for 3 days. The yellow D2.1 was bouncing up and down all week long. I had to find a filter and this is what I decided on. I didnt want to change the sensitivity of the D2.1 which the REPAINT REPAINT REPAINT crowd would be demanding. Instead I kept the sensitivity and added trendlines. Those flat triangles on the usd/jpy spelled trouble and it was. Price spiked up and if you entered up crossing the TL up you got whiplashed big time. I stayed out and though I missed a good move I would rather do that than take that trade and risk that kind of whiplash. SO REMEMBER those flat triangles spell

TROUBLE

My wife and I are going out for lunch. When I return I will do one final check. Milanese has given me his 20th and hopefully final for now version of the indi. We think it is ready for live tests. Be back in a couple of hours.

OK I have settled into a final version for me. I basically fitted all my previous versions into one simple chart. It has a lot of info on it but dont let it confuse you. Most of them are sight aids.
First the basics already presented by the earlier pages remain the same. You still take the 10.7 reads. What I have added is I am sticking with the TMA true with warning signals. If a bar closes above or below the 2.0 lines it will give a warning that price is in the upper or lower bands of the TMA. This is a good reversal signal especially in ranging markets so you will look to set you trades. Once above this area with STO signal is a good trade.

Cant see it very well in black so here is gray also. Same screen

A trade I like is the extreme trade (HI AL) I place Sell Limit orders near the top solid line and Buy limit orders at the bottom line and see if I can get that one or 2 trades every week at the extreme. I am sure all can talk about those kind of trades. Price spikes and you can pick up a nice trade. See green areas labeled #2. Limit order trades. If you want to stack trades you could put Sell stops and buy stops at the dotted lines also. (PINK AREAS)

The TMA True warning system gives you time to place these trades OR you can just set up limit orders at the beginning of the week. Check CSS if a currency is trending strongly.

I moved the market watch to the bottom of the screen and added pip spreads to it. Very simple read and out of the way.

10.2 and 10.4 S/R with WP (weekly pivot) are back but with the dummy bars. I finally found a way to have these without lines going all over the screen. Simple and neat.

MANY MANY thanks to Elixe for coding the bars for S/R and OPENs

Then the 3 bars on the far right are the daily open bar DO, weekly open bar WO, and the monthly open bar MO. This allows you to see how price moves throughout the month or week as compared to the open. If you ever study candles on the weekly or monthly charts they are usually full bodied. This means once price commits to a direction is will stay in that direction for the rest of the week or month. You will also be able to see how price moves up and down compared with the open. You can see if you should be going with the green areas BUY or red areas SELL. These bars are more for your study and understanding price action than tools to trade off of.

If you want to learn how to use weekly S/R lines visit the 10.2 and 10.4 threads. If you want to see how we used DO and WO visit the 10.3 thread.

If all this is confusing just follow the STO7 signals back into the trend and add the TMA outside in signals. You will get plenty of trade opportunities off of those two indicators.

Last but not least my third area to enter of off is the DP or daily pivot. It is the yellow line down going across the screen. 10.6 EDSEL stays with the crossing of the DP in the direction of the STO7 along with the TMA read still is my bread and butter trade.

So with 10.7 SIMPLE final edition I have 3 main trades
1. Limit orders off of the top TMA3.0 line which can stack with the TMA 2.0 dotted line
2. The standard 10.7 read with trades going with RED and Yellow line. These are really reenter into the trend trades.
3. 10.2/10.4 trades where you entered at the cross of the pivot line but using STO7 confirmation.

My 3 basic trades of the 10.7 system.
