Hopefully this will explain a little bit to those who are not sure about when the indi's shift from high to low etc. In the attached H1 NZDCHF chart you will see that there are Aqua and White horizontal lines - these are daily and weekly opens respectively. The areas in yellow boxes are where the daily stoch was opposite to the way eventually fixed by the end of the day. So, for example, the first yellow box shows where the daily would have been "low" even though it then crossed the daily open line and finished the day "high" -

Note where the pink line is drawn would have been a perfectly good trade - both daily and weekly would have been low and stoch(7) moving down through 90. This is why I like the daily and weekly open lines on my charts - I posted them on the 10.7.10.9 indi solutions thread. I think there is scope to use them to anticipate good trades too - price approaching daily open for example, stoch at OB/OS - you can see them all about to "line up" when that cross is made and the daily switches.....

Similarly the red boxes are where the weekly would have been opposite to the way it ended up. So during the first red box the weekly would have been "high", same with the second - even though it ended the week "low".

I hope this makes some sense.

Hi BOB

Last couple of pages you emphasized the importance of CSS. I feel this was a bit neglected at the beginning of these threads. May be you should add a note to the first page, reminding traders that CSS is the prime source of information for market direction. This will be very useful to the traders who are new to the NB concept.

Steve has announced the arrival of 10.7 to 10.9 in bold red fonts in his weekly newsletter. As a result we will soon have a fare share of the 10,000 recipients coming our way.

Kind regards

Thanks, spotdespot, for the detailed explanation.

Drawing the weekly open lines on the chart and watching how price interacts with them it seems there are great trading weeks with this system (Green boxes) where price is above/below almost all the week and other weeks (red boxes) without clear direction -Doji weeks- , where the signals are weak BUT as price goes up and down in ranging mood it could be easy to manage the losing trades and scape without big harm.

(To keep the weekly open line (WOL) on the chart could be a way to have an static reference to know when weekly stoch signal will change)

I have empty pages set aside for that. i only have x amount of time every day. As a teacher and administrator of a school I work 10-14 hour days. Milanese and I have been buring the midnight oil getting this up and ready. You will see it put together over time. I also am begining to regret having 2 threads. I can devote myself to one or the other. I guess this one will be it most of the time since day candles you wait all month for the rigth moment.

Add the daily lines for 4H and less and TL and you will see entrance and exit points will fit and be a bit clearer.

I know better than most the sacrifices you make in order to transfer your knowledge in order to help others. Once in FF I tried to run a thread and never again!!!! IMHO the foundation of the fantastic success of 10 series is the CSS, Indeed, after my prolonged Forex sabbatical the first thing you told me was to study and learn the nuances of the CSS. An advice which is worth its weight in gold. Numerous times I have seen someone new asking the same question for the umpteenth time and you have painstakingly explained it over and over again, whereas I would have given them the world famous "HOPWOOD" treatment.

The help and dedication of Tommaso (milanese) to this forum is well appreciated and we all owe a great debt of gratatiude to him. Just hope to have a chance to repay in some way so much generosity.

Kind regards

I hope you guys are starting to see what I am seeing the pinpoint entrances you can get with this. There is a time when we read the market and we see the euro drop coming. 10.7 should give us that moment. We saw yesterday the rally in the DT. It may continue to rally today. But at some point when it goes back into the DT. BAM all these indicators will move into the correct direction and your are in. It will be sad that some cant get around the false teaching of repaint indicators but I cant help them unlearn that. I am excited about what I see coming. I am sure AL will get this quickly and show how it fits his TMAs and others will show how this fits COG and so on. As each one gets it and sees how it compliments what they already know will appreciate how this fits. I think a blank screen and naked traders are going to love this.

Not sure how to read EURUSD.

H4 waves trending down
D1 and W1 waves tending up

I am not sure how much there is on the downside. I am in a longterm long because of the small swap - been in for a couple of days now. Lets see.

Yes. Not trading on Monday and the Asian Tuesday session is an option, but as you say, not very realistic considering the level of our addiction to this... For now, I am going with signals from 10.6 for Monday while I watch 10.7 and get a feel for when you can fully trust it. In the example I mentioned from your picture, it is actually even worse, because the system is giving you buy signals even though it is showing divergences in Sto7, so if it drops tonight you will end up with a loser. I believe you have to be very patient with 10.7 until a trend is established. I totally agree with Bob that once the trend is established for that week, it usually continues till Friday so there is great logical merit to 10.7. The Forex crowd seems to think one week at a time...
Hi Al, wonder whether you could clear this up for me ; i'm still confused as to how one would know daily / weekly trend has been established?
