EURUSD did do much better than the average of the 28 pairs. It took 10 trades and made $97.30. $85 of that came from 2 trades in the big rundown from 06:00 - 16:00.

Unfortunately EU was the ONLY pair to show a significant profit:

Looking at that P/L table, it seems clear that SwingONE does NOT like JPY. About 2/3 of the ~$950 losses yesterday came from 6 xxxJPY pairs! JPY pairs were the top 5 biggest losers.

Maybe yesterday's sample was too small to draw any conclusions, but xxxJPY sure did badly yesterday.

I'm going to guess the ma cross of swingone just isn't suited for low timeframes. at least not without modifying the settings greatly. I have it running on H4 and it seems to be doing fine. one loss at $4.60 and 5 floating winners with a profit of $31.50 and rising. I'll take that ratio any time if it can hold on to the profits. will have to wait a while to see how the trades close. H4 is pretty slow and i've only had 6 trades the last day from about 15 pairs.

It was originally proposed for 4 Hr charts. There is too much noise and too many fake outs in the lower time frames. Just put the MA's on a chart and have a look at 4 Hr vs others.

Some months ago I made a bad decision and put to test a go-for-recovery-when-in-loss system on an extended run. The result is nothing but dangles and ever-increasing drawdown.

My results are not too bad running on H1 as well. Initially lost quite a bit when I ran it on M1 to debug the EA. I moved it to 4 H1 charts once satisfied with its entries and exist and it almost clawed it to the original account balance.

You will also notice the EA will currently refuse to run on real-money accounts. Requires a code change to enable so this should at least prevent casual users from losing money until we find a consistently profitable method.

So far, after a day and a half on H4, i have one closed loss at $4.60, 2 closed wins at $5.63, and 9 floating trades at $49 profit and rising.

M15 is working MUCH better with StrategyExit = False and StopLoss = 10.

It's only lost 1/4 as much as yesterday.

It's lost about -$400 in 186 closed trades, plus it has $130 in 6 open trades!

Khalid, unless you have other things you want to test on this M15 timeframe, I'm going to agree with blahn and say swingONE isn't ready for M15 yet. I'm thinking I'll move my test to H1 or H4.

Switching to H1, reverting to StrategyExit = True and StopLoss = 38. Let me know if that should be different.
