Got one of those :) Gonna try it at some point
Murphyman posted some scaling scripts here, which could be useful for this purpose:

Probably this stuff would need to be upgraded to build 6xx.
Would look into the upgrading later when time permits.

Cheers

I'm feeling some love with the AUDNZD as the 10.9 daily gave a signal to short.

Its not the best signal as the monthly STO7(white dotted line) is showing an UT still. Using 79% fib retracement, i have set TP at this level.

I'm using the ATR as a guide only, how far it could travel from one boundary to the other. The last fractal was a top.

In effect, i'm CT the monthly, so not expecting a lot of pips from it.

Pretty much, the same scenario with CADJPY daily.

I have moved TP to the 61.8% as the bottom ATR line will be inside the 79% fib.

This is a better setup with both M and D STO7 on the '0' line.

I missed this one.

This version and settings are for daily trading only. If you have the patience to take only 1-3 trades a month and ride it out. This is for you. One indi and a blank screen that is it. The rules are posted in the 10.7 thread but that thread is for 4H TF and lower. Those that want to discuss longer term daily trades this is for you. So I called it 10.9 and the settings on the indicator are for daily trading screens. The screen is naked with no other indis for the simple fact none other are needed. We take the signal and then wait for the trade to develop.

Pictures and examples of trades are posted inside the folder. Put the indi in the indi folder and the template in the template folder. I have one account I will be only daily trading. Probably put it on 8-10 currency pairs and that is it. I will be trading 10 cents per thousand on my trades and may go higher as my skill with this grows. Remember this is a test version and is at V.17. The last version tested live was V.7 so we have added a lot of bells and whistles since then. However most of those have nothing to do with this system. The indi will help you enter and exit trades and give you warnings of both. Please read the first two pages of the 10.7 thread located at: http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... =38&t=3549 before asking questions.

Best of luck to you

Just like to thank Bob,milanese - and everyone else who contributed to this great system. I've stated using 10.7 on my live account and while learning making some nice pips, now gotta give this 10.9 a test ride...I just love it's simplicity but big pip potential :good:...Pip

Very nice trade.

160 pips from alert to top of ATR.

I have the same, but I'm planning to attack 10.9 with force.

I have eyeballed all the charts last weekend and found they ' behave' very good and listen to Al's TMA like a hungry dog to it's master. As soon as there is a valid signal, I go all the way and plaster the way to the other side with add-ons every 50/100 pips depending on ADR. TP on the opposite TMA-line, or bail out when I see fit and reverse.

I started 2 weeks ago with this account and TMA, hence the sell at the bottom.
Seeing the charts, it can wait till PA gets back and pick it up again in a few weeks.

Right now I have over 60 orders open on 26 charts, DD is a little to high for my liking but trades like the GBPUSD sell are the reason for that. Time will weed them out.

Good I am glad you guys have taken this thread to heart. I would prefer to watch and learn since I have not been a day candle trader before. I have used daily screens to see what was happening but then drop back down to my 4H chart. So if you see something please post. I want to sit back and relax on this thread. Thanks for all the input and discussion. (looking forward to lurking) 8-)

I closed my oil trade for 11 pip loss. Not going to play with it since the W2.1 moved to the top. That is a way to use a SL with this.
