Everything has lined up for long. Bob was looking for a cross of GBPNZD.
Swap is negative for long, so must be correct.

This daily chart trading isn't for the faint of heart....
The equity is like a rollercoaster with all these orders staying open longer and longer.
At the moment I have +130 orders, ranging from -275 to +270 pips.
Floating DD went from -20% at the start of the week to +5% this morning, being around -2% at the moment.
If this works like expected, floating DD will be a thing of the past and make place for floating UPdraft for a change.

Did anyone grab GBPAUD? Missed it..
Hope you all grabbed GBPNZD long and USDNZD short this week. Over 350+ pips combined. The only 2 trades I took all week.

Looks like NZD (and probably AUD soon) trends were changed (according to CSS) so we should have got some nice trades in a few next weeks

Sometimes that is all you need. Do you know how many traders would kill to have a week like that? Good job. Yes I caught the gbp/aud trade as I see the gbp go up and the aud come down on the CSS. CSS is a good place to look and find where the trades are about to happen.yamez » Fri Apr 18, 2014 4:13 pm wrote:Did anyone grab GBPAUD? Missed it..![]()

1. I place a market order or you could place a stop order on the next sweet spot in the direction of the signal. I want the entry signal to be near the TMA band with price previously breaching the band. You can spot setups before they happen and use Steves trade helpers, http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... =37&t=3561 . I modified the code to this,liberty55 » Mon Apr 14, 2014 10:57 pm wrote:Hi at all, in the daily strategy, when the signal is there ( sto monthly, weekly and sto7 agree togeter) do put an pending order or you take 'at the market' ???
2e question: what do you do when the signal is done( a few hours ago or end of the day) but the market is not at the opposite band from the tma-cg and the signal still good???
3e question: do you put an pending order at the last high/low af the previous day ( depend if the signal to buy or to sell).
HigherTF_Used=10080;
HigherTF2_Used=43200;
To make the helpers 10.9 compatible.
2 & 3. You could drop to H1 and place a limit order near the appropriate TMA band to catch a possible pull back.

I like D1-chart trading till now. GBP has build some nice profit baskets with several 100's pips each since tuesday. I'm seeing GBP becoming the strongest currency next week on CSS, so hold on a little longer.
At the moment I could close over 30% profit, but that will also immediately become my DD then. A whole new learning proces. Also, for instance the GBPNZD, is nearly completely hedged. The margin needed is almost zero. If I close all buys, the sells will need their full margin, so need to see how that works out.
All in all, stressfree trading for what seems to become a proitable system. Since it's on the daily chart, I'll keep it at this cent-account for a few months more.
