Bob's gonna hate me for saying this, but does that Indi repaint? The 10.7 indies repaint like crazy today - I know today' s Monday... perhaps I should wait until tomorrow to use the 10.7. I was thinking of using the this indi and get a second opionion before placing a trade.

ideas anyone?
This is no repainting this is a logical effect as the stoch indicators are using the open bars and so the values change with price changes...

Milanese, is there any difference in the program between 10.7 3.22 sto w TS HT alert with the 3.23 or is just the different settings on the inputs?

The reason I ask is because I have already set the 3.22 in all my charts and when tried to updated with the 3.22 I can't get the 10-30 and 70-90 set. So if the formula is the same I would rather to keep the 3.22 version.

Thanks in advance

You can use 3.22 if it is easier for you as the major differences are in settings and some minor fixes..

Cheers :)

Instead of talking about repainting how about you learn to read what the indicator is telling you and then trading. It is so much easier. This is so simple and you guys are just, ........gotta change this and gotta change that. You have had it for a week and how would you know you need to change anything. I just look at the signal and if it matches the CSS read dang it is almost always a winner. So it is very simple.

CSS read for this week is Commodity currencies angling down, others angling up, GBP on top, when the D2.1 and W2.1 agree follow the STO 7 on the 4H, 1H, or 30M chart and you will have a lot of winning trades. DANG no wonder so many people lose money in this business. At least the guys on the daily charts are staying with the basics of the system. Even though it was Easter week I still increased my account almost 2%.

I dont mind questions, but I wish people would take the word repaint and throw it in the trash. I did over 5 years ago and learn to understand what the indi is telling me. The guy who developed TMA told me I was wasting my time with such a repaint indicator. The guy literally hates my guts. Yet the CSS is the most useful trading tool I have ever seen develop from that. You get this train of thought in your mind and then you follow it to positions that keep you from learning all the ins and outs of trading. You cant learn if you think there is something wrong by saying it repaints. To me the indi just updated and its telling me to continue or not continue the trade. My losses are almost all in the less than -10 pip range the last couple of weeks. Hey I can handle that. My biggest loss this month is 35 pips. I enter and if that STO 7 gets near the top and D2.1 reverses and price has gone nowhere. Well just get out. I got a ton of trades in the +10/-10 category. Catch a runner, get rid of the rest and bingo account goes up and that is all that matters.

I am using this, and am very happy with it. You want to change and have it fit your style of trading feel free but what you see it what I am as a trader. You are seeing me on that screen and everything I have learned about this business. Add to that dozens of others who have programmed into this thing and it is what it is. I am happy with 10.6 Edsel and really happy with 10.7. Now I go make money. You guys can do what you want.

Hi Dewey,

Could you share your volume spread analysis VSA indicators and templates used. It could be better that you show us the picture how you take the trade.

Thanks in advance.
The VSA set up I use is from a commercial vendor, so I am not sure if I should post them here. My point was how you can add 10.7 to any system and get better results. One example from VSA is a shake out or reverse shakeout. They are usually strong signals, but if wrong can move against you pretty fast. I have noticed that when the STO7 confirms, it is almost always a sure winner.

Yeah you can show how it fits.

OK. There are other signals in VSA, but I chose shake-outs (a potential buy) and reverse shake-outs (a potential sell) because they can be very strong, but you have to be careful because they can move against you pretty fast when they are wrong. I drew vertical red lines when one of them occurred without confirmation from STO7 and were mixed.. The ones with blue lines did have confirmation and were winners.

My guess is that one could add 10.7 to any good system and make it even better.

Great work, Bob. So far I am mostly using 10.6 to supplement Extreme TMA, but I have changed the H4 bar to D1 to determine the trend. It gives me a more reliable trend in most cases. I´m trading with H4 bars like you are, still trying to let the trade ride to al least 80% of its potential and cut down on my trigger finger scalping habit. I am also using CSS as a filter and it is cutting down on the losers.

I expect major turbulence in Yen pairs on Friday with the release of the CPI. My charts tell me the move will likely be to a stronger Yen, with most major Yen pairs moving to the down side, but we´ll see...
