10.9 DAILY/WEEKLY TRADES ONLY

I very much like your trading style and philosophy! Especially the MST levels, because the logic behind the retesting mechanism is very clear and "true-life".
I try to follow your path, and I made some effort to identify the main open MST levels in EURUSD daily:

1.3222
1.2897
1.2443
1.0206
0.9338

The latter two are rather weekly or monthly MSTs, and I am uncertain that such old levels are in play anymore.

Would you be so kind and confirm these levels and that I am on the good track? :)

Thanks!

Zimezoom, yes you are on the right track.. There are many others, but yes..

Cheers

Gotta love the different styles here, I "missed" the GBPAUD move, from last week, Gertje "exploited" the GBPAUD move, from last week to now.

Great stuff...

Well you are a bold man. My pips are already banked and new pendings if it keeps going.
I know.
The account is only $20,- so I'm not to worried.

I do wonder how I would do if it would be a serious live account with my life-savings and soon-to-be-retirement money in it.

If this proves to be a profitable way, there may be peace of mind knowing it will work out in the end.
My account is quite a bit bigger than that so a retracement for me is a fair amount of bucks.

I understand completely.

DD has been up to -20%, updraft this morning when I woke up was +10% so there are quit some swings in the equity. At the moment there are several pairs with both buy's and sell's, closing the profit immediately increases the DD while keeping the equity the same. It's all a numbers game at the moment.

I can see this getting big, when jumping from TMA to TMA indeed works out. Just look at the H4 TMA, and you can do it on a weekly basis while daytrading.

I was away skiing last week so missed those moves but I am also liking the 10.9/10.7 + TMA. I use D1 TMA on D1 and H4 charts (along with W1 TMA in the background) with Weekly and Monthly 10.9 stochs and H4 TMA on anything below with Daily/Weekly/Monthly 10.7/10.9 stochs.

Early days but if you are selective and take trades "with trend" after price crosses TMA boundaries that meet 10.7/10.9 criteria then success rate is great.

I am not sure I can handle your equity swings either Gertjan!

Cheers,
Dave.

Hello together,

yesterday I had a buy signal in AUDUSD (daily chart). Everything looked good. At the end of yesterdays bar M1 was up, W1 was up and D1 past the 10 and was in the middle of 10 and 30. I just checked the chart and W1 is down again. Does anybody has the some "problem"?

Thanks,
Stefan

Hi Stefan,

as the W1 Stoch is calculated for the actual weekly open bar it is always possible that during the week the value can change from 0 to 100 or viceversa, this is in nature of the W1 2.1.1 stoch..

Cheers :)

Hi Stefan :hi:

your trade was technically correct :good:
but there was a news at 3.30 (GMT) news in Australia Consumer Price Index, but worser as expected
and you see so the reaction of market was to sell AUD, it is better aspect the news and open the trade after the news :hi:

Hi Gunter, hi Tommaso,

thanks a lot for your help. I just added the CSS to all of my charts and it helps a lot.

Cheers
