I do remember. I'm exposed to 2 x JPY crosses right now, not every one. I'll stick to posting setups and exits. All in jestGertje » Fri Apr 25, 2014 1:17 am wrote:
Actually, I didn't. Went short but closed with some profit already. I threat JPY-crosses very carefully to not be caught in a reversal when the fundamentals are saying long. Killed my account with 10.3 on that one.....

Well, just a curiosity out of topic about GBPUSD daily. It just appeared this harmonic pattern (Bearish total) that has almost a 70% of probabilites of succes. So, be cautious going long next weeks. Price could retest the last highs but the risk of a drop is too dangerous.
If the pattern works price should start travelling south soon, following the green dotted line (trend line), seeking the aqua line (equilibrium line) and finding resistance in the red lines (reaction lines).
CSS daily already shows a nasty slope down in GBP, (impossible to trick CSS!)
so stay away!
Maybe the scottish independence will add some fuel in the next months to the bears train.

GBP down slightly vs JPY up, according to CSS, when I took this trade. Manually picked a setup and the trade was taken by Steves 10.x helpers. Thanks Steve! Thanks Baluda & Bob to CSS!
Trendlines help for an exit, although GBP is flat, for now, according to CSS.
TMA is a vital part of the equation. D1 CSS without TMA would have been a lost cause for most, during the period of the pink rectangle. Although skilled execution on the Lower TF, would have prevailed. As above, so below, still pips to be made.

I agree, with a different way to get there.zentauro67 » Sat Apr 26, 2014 8:57 am wrote:Well, just a curiosity out of topic about GBPUSD daily. Daily AND weekly TMA is at the upper level, with the H4 TMA going flat/ reverse down.
Already entered shorts, now at 0 and -50pips.
My CSS shows GBP flat, while USD is angling up. For sure the pair will drop next week.

Yes, and the same is happening in NZDUSD, with the 4H bending back from Daily and Weekly TMA bands. It´s a more visual and accurate way of mesuring OB levels than RSI (thanks, Al). However, in NZDUSD I´m not so bearish. Carry trade could keep the pair going up.

Thanks to Steves's 10.x helper EA, on this one.yamez » Wed Apr 23, 2014 10:00 am wrote:I don't trade gold and cannot do a CSS read, however this looks to be a potential retest back into trend trade. Lets wait and see.
As far as my call, probably a one off.

Although GBPUSD still needs to drop, I feel like bragging.
Made agressive use of the inside knowledge provided by CSS and TMA together and stacked trades every 50 pips that are going my way. Started to counter-trade with the H4-TMA this week and am feeling more and more comfortable using these indi's. Going from TMA-band to TMA-band on the D1 chart, and TP on the other side.
Trading 0.01 lots for every $1.000 in my account, I nearly managed to double my account this month. There is some DD, but in case I would close all out, I'm still in profit this week.
I'll keep trading this way for a while, if there will develop a trend the profit is even more extreme in my opinion.
I made over 10.000 pips this month, see attached.
