Hi Guys I don't know if this has been addressed yet but I know the question has been asked. So let me just mention it anyway. From my observation The trend column on Spiderx's 10.9 dashboard is the diff in pips from the 60Lwma or if below the 240 Lwma the distance in pips if the 60lwma is still above the 240 lwma. If price between the 240 and 60 lwma then no reading on the dashboard.
Anyway just thought I would mention that for anyone still wondering.

Hi
My first post on any forum.. I have demo and live accounts with FxPro in UK. When on demo all the indicators work fine however when I swap to my live account some of the indicators stop working eg daily pivot disappears(from 10.6 but i use it with 10.7) and the daily yellow sto line has disappeared and the weekly red sto is always on the bottom and the CSS info page wont work at all.
If I switch back to my demo account it all comes back. Anybody any ideas why ??
thanks
Simon

Thank you.
Hello,
Well it's nice to see some modifications of my dashboard - just having a look at it now - nice job SpiderX.
I've only been quiet as I'm miles behind on 10.7/8/9/10... keeping up with all the great threads here takes a lot of time when you try and trade and have a life as well...
Attached is an indi which I've been using to try and see the true historical (end of bar) values for the w2.1 & d2.1 indi.. Just for past analysis... might be useful for someone?
A value of 50 for either line means that the bar spans the weekly/daily close so the line would/could be flipping even within the timeframe you are looking at.
The indi uses the prev. weekly/daily close (rather than the current weekly/daily open).
You can also set dots (if you want to overlay on main indi) (set arrow=TRUE)
Anyway, back to the reading....
Cheers

Just some comments on this trade. You played the bottom of price action and got caught. If you were going to do a sell you should have been outside the TL and below that 240 line. That would have been a good entrance point. Playing the bottom of the triangle as a sell is not a good spot. Now playing the bottom as a buy with a SL on the other side of the TL is a good trade but as a sell in side the TL ugly.xrismak » Mon Apr 28, 2014 8:11 pm wrote:xrismak » Mon Apr 28, 2014 4:54 am wrote:Hi Peeps,

Yes the CSS showed GBP stronger than the JPY so another reason to not sell. STO 7 on the bottom, W2.1 popped to the top along with D2.1 it is almost like you wanted to trade the opposite of all the rules. Anyway good reason to learn by posting trades like this.
Even if W2.1 and D2.1 were on the bottom when you placed the trade the STO7 also on the bottom should have told you the move was pretty much done.

I also played the gbp/jpy and I could close out at a small loss at this point but the gbp is angling up and the jpy is angling down on the CSS and gbp is above the jpy so I will hang in there waiting for the break up. I play my entrance a little too tight and should have been a bit higher and outside the TL.
I did catch the gbp/nzd and eur/nzd from the bottom of the TL so I had a good trades there yesterday.

Bob,
Thanks for the Analysis On my Not so Good Trade of Yesterday On the GBP/JPY Currency Pair, I am Learning as Slowly as I can, very very Soon the Learning Process will Pay out DIVIDENDS, anyway I tried something Else Again Today ( Hope I am Not Wrong) Based your Explanation but if I get it Wrong I will Keep On Trying until the Light Bulb Goes off Somewhere in my Tiny Brain and I begin to Get it Right Consistently with my Trades using this System... That's the Way I Learn to make the Right Calls and Place the Right Trades, so Kindly do Not Hesitate to Scold and Gently Point me in the Right Direction from time to Time if and When I Goof on my Trade Selection and Decisions. Happy Trading Folks,

Well, here is prealpha version of my CSS with automatic direction detection. I just compiled it so it can have a lot of bugs especially since I couldn't sleep today and therefore I was programming from 5 am
There is one new important value to enter: a FlatRange value, the higher is this number, the more currencies will be considered as "flat".
I will definitely add more timeframes because this was my objective all along but maybe after I get some sleep
