Loosely translated, 'basket' trading is this:
you take out trades over a number of different pairs. This is your 'basket' of trades.
the success or failure of individual trades within the basket is irrelevant.
all that matters is the success or failure of your basket of trades:
if you have more winners than losers then you can close out in profit.
if you end up with an overwhelming number of losers, then you have to close out at a loss.
Basket traders talk in terms of 'basket stop loss' and 'basket take profit' rather than applying those terms to individual trades.
