Isnt there risk that the Sto arrow turns one direction initially, then reverses and turns the other way, and closes in the other direction ?alorente » Mon May 05, 2014 4:10 pm wrote: As soonas the Sto arrow turns, I enter immediately. I don´t wait for close.

It doesnt matter, because Al edited the code for the yellow which should indicate time to close.theforexedge » Mon May 05, 2014 4:59 pm wrote:

What settings are you using for H4 stochclose_high & stochclose_low?
Thanks, JP
Yes. That is why I don´t close till after it moves past 50 and then turns. It is common for the arrow to switch back and forth till the trend change is established. The other option you have is to set a stop order once the arrow turns, but I don´t like stop orders. It takes a while for the H4 arrow to turn. Once it does, its good enough for me to enter. I do use Extreme TMA as a filter in addition to the dashboard and I take the trade only if Extreme TMA says I should. The dashboard is a great tool, but not the only one. You should check the trade against your favorite filter and take only the ones with the highest potential. It´s all about probabilities in this game...SpiderX » Mon May 05, 2014 9:37 am wrote:Isnt there risk that the Sto arrow turns one direction initially, then reverses and turns the other way, and closes in the other direction ?alorente » Mon May 05, 2014 4:10 pm wrote: As soonas the Sto arrow turns, I enter immediately. Interesting thread - thanks for sharing. Could you post a picture of your dashboard when you find a trade?alorente » Mon May 05, 2014 3:44 am wrote:Yes. Hello Spider.SpiderX » Sun May 04, 2014 5:25 am wrote:hi al,
Attached is the dashboard with your custom changes.
Seems that you have customized some of the schemes to your preferences, so this would be a custom version for you.

Code: Select all
extern bool ignoreWKD1_21 =false;Thanks Spider. I agree that the market is going nowhere. I´ll keep both dashboards going for as long as needed till I find a statistically relevant result.SpiderX » Mon May 05, 2014 4:39 pm wrote:Hi Al,
Attached is the updated dashboard, with additional parameters:
Set it to true for what you have requested.Code: Select all
extern bool ignoreWKD1_21 =false;
As a note, the current market conditions are pretty much ranging....not sure if your one month test would give any helpful information.
