No wonder I am always in trouble...

Funny, I have no problem to sit on my hand and play with my dangly bits when someone else is doing the trading, but when I trade, that is a whole different story. Probably a confidence thing.

Hi friends,

I have posted many EAs in this and another forum that have been decompiled, modified and sold it with a different name. I have even published an EA that although it had been decompiled many times I am still trading it live from April 2012. Due to that scams, my last EAs have an expiry date, although I know this is a partial solution, because it implies to update them constantly. For that I am thinking about a signal service.

Let me explain:
I am using some demos for experimenting with different grid strategies, risk and money management, that later I use in my live account.

For that I have contemplated the possibility of distributing the signals of my live account, or any of the demos that I am running at the moment. If you see in my signature there are at the moment two demos that are profitable (LadyPokerFace and LadyAlejandra) and another one (LadyFame) that does not goes well (although I have learned very much with it) and I will replace it with another updated version (LadyMarryTheNight) that I think it is the safest EA I have written. (I have programmed so many EAs, that I am now using the names of the songs of LadyGaga to differentiate them ).

For me the principal question about an EA must not be: how much it earns? , but how it manages the DD ?

After many years I am trading now with profitability and low DD. I am a full time trader now, but selling the signals I think multiplies the stress of the trade.

I have decided to let the account with LadyMarryTheNight totally transparent and I am copying the trades to a similar live account.

Anyway, are you offering trading signals for copying at all?

I think there's got to be something more to trade copying. Isn't it possible to use signals in another way than just choosing someone to blindly copy?

Some siganls fees run at $650/month at C2.
I think if spending that kind of money, better to go with Futures than forex.

Isn't it possible to take 10 signals services, filter, and only trade when 2 match up?

Anybody offering a paid for signal service runs a significant risk, unless they are a licensed, registered financial adviser.

Let's assume a trader who is not a recognised financial adviser accepts money for 'signals' and a customer loses his shirt trading them - the trader may well be open to a legal challenge with heavy penalties.

I run a paid for forex training course and am extremely careful to point out to students that there are no 'signals' of any kind available, only information on how to build your own successful strategy.

As in all successful forex trading, there are very few, if any short cuts.

HannesJoubert, try mql4.com. Tips : select those who are trading with their real money and look at the amount they deposit. If they only deposit $100, they may be reckless and take big risks whereas if they deposit $50k or 100k, chances are that they will try to be more careful. U can spread among several subscriptions to diversify and reduce risk. Also check their transaction history for aggressive martingaling.
