10.7 trading helpers by Steve and others

Just wonder whether the waiting time codes for the flipping of the yellow line could be applied to Stoch 7 entering position at 10/30/70/90. For example, a buy trade would be entered only when Stoch 7 crossed 10 and stayed above 10 say for 5 minutes.

When I test the EAs, I noticed that it happened quite a few times that trade was triggered and Stoch 7 immediately reversed back below the threshold. With this feature, we may enter a bit late but it will avoid some immediate loss which sometimes could be big.

Adding water to the radiator: the Helper and EA program might gear that Stoch 7 = Stoc-RSI 14.

You realise that this means I have to invoke the same code over 8 different ea's? And that the code for the trade twice ea's appears to be faulty and that nobody has chimed in to confirm or deny this?

Bearing in mind that I want to kill someone tonight, you still want me to look into this?

I experienced the same fault with both buy and sell triggers. It happened to both Trade 1 and Trade 2.

Done. The relevant input is MinutesToConfirmCross. I have not tested this yet, so sing out if there are bugs.

This only applies to the original ea's. The trade twice ea's do not work, so there is no point in applying the latest changes to them.

If anyone can work out why the trade twice ea's do not work, please post your fixed code; you will get full recognition for your work. I have glared at the code until I have even less interest in it than I had in the first place, and so do not care that they do not work. Doesn't mean I won't use them once corrected, just that I cannot see the problem and cannot be bothered with it right now.

I put the EAs on test on H1 charts, trades were entered not according to plan. I used 2 minutes waiting time which is the default, the trades were entered much later after crossing the 10 threshold but I could not identify a pattern.

Steve, don't bother to fix it at this moment, we could still use the original ones for the time being.

In the trade twice helpers changing line 900 in the Sell Twice into the trend from

seems to work and also if I understand the CT is against the weekly and towards the daily if so all the CT helpers have the order backwards
Waiting to Sell into the retrace has

      if (DailyStochMain == 100)
         if(HT2StochMain == 0)

shouldn't that be Daily =0 on bottom weekly=100 on top?? same for the buys if thats the case.

I'm very new to coding and this was a couple of hrs trial and error today so I hope I'm on the right track, if I'm way off and messed up please don't tear me a new one! I'm just trying to help while you've got more important things to worry about.
