Not sure if swing volume gets you an earlier entry, but it should be safer.
Watch for possible climax hi volume swing.
Or more commonly, watch for the red swings to become bigger than the green ones.

I will be looking at the indicator code further to see if I can fix the indicator. The Empty4 compiler keeps finding errors in the code.GT3RS » Tue May 13, 2014 9:21 am wrote:Not sure if swing volume gets you an earlier entry, but it should be safer.

The 4 hour CSS showing USD and AUD moving in opposite directions even though they are both positive the trade profited about 35 pips. I really like the 60 2:1 and how it boxes out really nice trades. If you look at where the yellow 2:1 changes and how it confirms trade entry. If you get both the 240 and 60 together it makes for a very high probability trade. The 60 can flip back and forth as price movement stalls but even for a very small scalping trade it seems reliable given other trading signals. I really like the 2:1 stochastic and probably it may be one of the most reliable signals by far for entry and exits when there is momentum in the market. Below the return back through the bearish ordered pairs.
Price retest the Grey ribbon where we see another one of those dome like highly resistant locations and as is usual at one of these sites the ribbon rejects it. Now the red 2:1 confirms the yellow one by joining it.

The Stochastic 50 line is to keep you from jumping ship in these slight trends. These bumps are only a few pips. Think of the Crimson edge as the back bone of the trade. When the white edge breaks the backbone look to the top or the bottom of the slope direction line to take profit. Probably with this setup do not trade a flat crimson edge and probably will use a combination of stochastic and slope direction line to enter. More later but here is what it looks like now. The yellow 2:1 still does a pretty good job of boxing out trade direction. By the way some of your best trades will be on high volatility pairs. You do not have to have super tight spreads with them. Say a spread of 3 to 4 on GBPNZD sounds to big to over come but high volatility pairs easily over come them because they have a wider range. See final system at the following url.

Just another thought on the setup.
It would be completely possible to use the slope direction line as price which gives a very clear picture of the trade. The bumps seem annoying but the do offer a second entry point very often when they cycle down or up against trend.
You cannot beat the ribbons ... See post below for final 1 minute system.

The Gann scalping system.
Special thanks to kino for building such nice indicators so many years ago. See chart below.
So that is what the system looks like. You have a powerful set of indicators besides the ribbons to scalp the 1 minute. Keno's scalping indicator has a macd, cci, ma, and rsi all rolled into one. It is pretty self explanatory. The most powerful indicator is on the kino monitor 3. It is the Digital CCI. The best bullish momentum is when both cci averages are above +67. Best bearish would be below +67. If price weaken some the 21 average will react first. It may become red or green however it is when both drop below or above these numbers that a strong signal of change or a turn around may be occurring.
The stochastic. The 2:1 red is set at 1440. It becomes our daily trend. The trading yellow stochastic 2:1 is set at 15. The blue stochastic is set at 18 and 4.
The idea of the 50 line is that the stochastic will stay some what above this line or below this line depending on trend even through retraces. It is not perfect but it is a way to judge retraces. The idea being that you do not leave the trade to soon.
The ribbons obey the ribbons rules. There are only 4 ribbons. 1 min Gray, 5 min Navy, 15 min Green, and the 30 min is Brown.
In the end trading the 1 minute is a lot of judgement but my experimenting just led me back to the best scalping system I ever used. This is not the fx-50 system though because it used a bunch of different indicators.
The labels to the left identifying ribbon distance from price on the keno monitor at the bottom are based on four digits. Kino did not release the source code so this can not be changed. You just have to add the decimal point in your mind 126 = 12.6. It is automatic once you get use to it. If a label is red that means price is below that particular ribbon. If price is green that means price is above that ribbon. The top row is the white edge and the number is the distance of price to the ribbon edge referenced. The bottom row is the Crimson edge and the same applies. See bundle in post 1.
Cheers,
Doug
