I caught a few pips here n there. 20-40pips on microlots - works out to like 4 bucks across my trades. Anyway, still figuring out a style that suits me. Cheers!

Set for a second the 'ignorefuture' to false in CSS and you´ll see the forecast was (and is) a massive ZZZZZZzzzz.

Volatility based grids......

If you are one that cannot get to the pc regularly, use a grid. 10.7 requires you to draw a yearly grid. Just take last years high and low, subtract the high from the low and divide by 8. Draw a horizontal line at last year's low. Draw another line 1/8th above the low, and second one 2/8ths, and continue that process until you get to the high. Use your built in period separators on the H4 chart to give you the start of your week. Don't trade against the weekly or daily open. Follow the trend. If you set pending orders at the lines you drew above the weekly open, then you have it. 10.7 in a grid. :ugeek:

I see. Not at a machine now, will draw them later on. I can be at a computer, but most of the times i just cant keep observing it, due to work, etc. Do you guys trade the asian session? I've spent the last week looking at asian sessions only to be disappointed. Seems to me the moves happen at the open of the london session.
@bob: I vaguely remember you on trading sessions - TP 2-3 hours into a session, amiright? Which sessions are your fav and how do you set them up?

I've knocked up an indi to draw the 8 levels for the last 12 months high and low, no idea if its of any use to you, only did it to see if I could. Any coders out there who take a peek at my code  once you stop laughing PM me any pointers that I could use, I'm sure you could do in 20 lines what it too me around a 100 to do.

gbp/usd trade. We looked at this one late last week and it still has not moved down. Looking at bounce off of TL and cross over the DP and/or xxx.000 line. STO7 has crossed down so set pendings. The D2.1 is up but that would change quickly if price goes down. Ready and waiting.

If you wonder where I would put a 2nd entrance I could use the previous days DP.

Great contribution! Now if you find these 1/8 th trading lines too wide, you can use use your fib tool, set it to divide up into 8ths evenly, and there you have a more detailed analysis. Another way to trade top down.
