Algo+ aka +FN

Hi there all.

Has anybody heard of Algo+, also known as Plus(+) FN? Or pehaps FXTG?

These blokes have been phoning me, offering to manage funds for me, even though I explained to them that I cannot really afford it at the moment. The more I say I cannot afford it, the more they say that that is the reason I SHOULD do it...(hard core sales tactic anyone?)

My question is, has anybody here heard of them? If so, what was the experience? I have checked on FPA and I find nothing on them...is that good or bad?

At least they do not claim exorbitant numbers, 5 % - 8 % per month via algo trading with human intervention. They showed me "one" of their accounts (Empty4 read only) with a relative max drawdown of 22%, with a +- 60% increase over 12 months (but with floating losses of +- 4%) Trade sizes are +- .01 per 10'000.

However, it seems that you have to download "their" Empty4 platform, which means to me that they are also the brokerage, is that even possible?

On further investigation, it seems that they might actually be an IB for FXTG...

Anyway, please, be honest...

Who makes such an insistent promotion is in 99.99% not serious.., just forget them..

I think I have pretty much made up my mind...

They are using FXTG as a broker, and FXTG are apparently affiliated with 4XP & SkyFX etc etc...none of whom have a good name, especially when it comes to client withdrawals...so there you go I suppose..

Although, any other input would be welcome please.
