Help with MPTM

Hi there...

I am trying to make use of Steves' MPTM, specifically the TP portion, and I cannot seem to get it working to my specifications.

I have set both the "add missing TP" to 5 pips and the TP setting to 5 pips also, and now it keeps setting my TP at 10 pips, is it adding the two together? Or is there a minimum TP hardcoded into the EA?

Sorry, I am having a problem with the SL as well, I have set it for example 10 pips, and as soon as the EA is enabled it tries to close the trades...(I am trying to incorporate the BE settings and Jumping stop at the same time...)

There no missfunction in MPTM in the missed TP setting, must be that you are doing something wrong, please read the UserGuide again..

All these features have been up and running for years without a hitch, so it is something you are doing wrong.

MPTM is a highly complicated piece of kit. Start by turning everything off then re enabling the features one by one until you arrive at what you want. Make sure you understand what each feature is designed to do by reading the manual - said features might not work as you imagine them to do from the inputs.

No problemo

When you put MPTM on the chart and put in your preferred settings, you can save them to a file (i.e, a set file)
[ just like with any EA ]

Hi Expert,

Any expert can help me verify my MPTM setting.

My Requirement:
1. Breakeven 100pips
2. Start the "SL" trailing 30pips after breakeven

Please find the set file as per attached.
