This is a long shot but download the strip "Matt's chart-population script at viewtopic.php?p=5733#p5733. Use this every time you start a fresh platform". You will see this on page one of the Symphonie page under Useful utilities/EA's/scripts. It will populate your history on a fresh install. Errors can occur if not done. I have looked at your setting and I do not see anything different from mine. Make sure you have in options the EA setting correct. Under options
Enable Experts ....
Allow Live Trading ....
Allow dll
allow external ...
All need checked just the main boxs not the sub-boxes
Now make sure expert advisor button is pressed
That should enable every thing

Can some one assist my as to why the EA has no execute a order? I include screenshot of input settings.

Double check your Criminal Ecn setting I think it set off in defaults on this EA. I trade Cowboy IBFX and it should be on for them. I have had trades on EURUSD. A lot of criminals need this on.

here are the settings (set file) i'm using without the changed indi from mbkennel on eur/usd. These are from the original post 1. I'm changing over to the new versions using mb kennel's indi together with Eval's post 1 indi's. They are labelled accordingly. please let me know if you feel i should run them otherwise, but i'm getting a lot of 'banging' on my crim's account. I'm using AVA as live and demo (not live yet) but here are the settings for Alpari demo, these are with the original from steve, icluding the original sentiment inikator. They are zipped, so extract and put indis and EA in their correct place and you can use the set file. check the settings out and you should get the same results. i am getting far better from ava , alpari and markets, but mig bank and mbt bank are very bad and their leverage only allows a few trades. the last two are not good for testing purposes.

here are the two set files with indi's and templates.
have fun and i'll report back tomorrow morning to see what happens during the eastern session.

ps: i'm finding the slower pace is not taking trades easily, so i went down to TF1 min and there obviously it takes a shot or two, moving back to 5min TF causes the trade to close out if the indicator is pointing the opposite way.

OK. I have opened a new demo account with FX Clearing (http://eng.fxclearing.ca/) which according the the 100 top FXBrokers list is a ECN.(http://www.100forexbrokers.com/stp-ecn-brokers) Downloaded a new Empty4. Installed the standard Symphonie indikators and Symphonie Matrix v1.7 then loaded the Symphonie EA into a EURUSD chart 5 min timeframe.

I adjusted the Indikator settings to the following:

Marz 2012 Settings for Symphonie System.

Extreme indikator
1,3,2, false, 1,12,21

Emotion indikator
7

okay Eval, if this don't work, then you must try another criminal, Not using anything to do with the usa, or you will definately be at a disadvantage, sorry USA citizens

then, make sure that your settings are as slowkey and murphy note, and then what always happens to me, make sure your lot is not 0.01, but no smaller than 0.1, then send me a noddy badge if it works.

so sorry Eval, set your TP AND SL , leave risk at 0 as you'll start to get big lots if your account is big and new, type any number in the smart number column to make sure it dont conflict with any other ea running a '0' smart, oops, i mean magic number.

put zelko to false , and also kiwi.

then there is absolutely no reason why it should'nt work exept for your criminal either not allowing EA's or any other fine print 'rule' they mi8ght have.

The attached is for the coders. I have not changed the trading logic yet.

Given the 60/5 thingy, the first thing to do is ensure that S is extracting the correct values, so I ask the coders here to cast their eyes over the code and see if I have missed anything.

I hope my comments in the code explain what I am trying to do.

Please post your template as it will make my life easier. I hate to be lazy but there are sooo many settings in Steve's EA it is difficult to understand it.

yes it is, and you have done more to earn help with this stuff more that anyone else here.
